"Yeah, sure. Pwede kang pumunta sa bahay anytime kung gusto mo," Forsythe said as he walked down to the swimming pool area.
My emotions felt a bliss of happiness and giddy because of what he said. We were talking about his cat. He showed me a picture of it eating and other pieces of stuff.
"Okay! Salamat Forsythe!" I said happily. Because of him, I can never be lonely in life again! I can go to his house to play with his cat! Yehey!
When we got to the gym, the roars and cheers of everyone hugged my ears. Ang ingay naman! I didn't think that this thing would be so loud and painful in the ear. I just stood there, covering my ears. I did that to block the noise. But it just became muffled.
My standing became walking when Forsythe grabbed my hand gently from my ears. We both walked towards the first bench of the seat. Apparently, we can seat here because Timothee reserved it for us. Or something like that. Sometimes I don't listen to all the things they say.
When we got there, Forsythia was the only one. She was on her textbooks, reading. As usual. What's new anyway? I thought that she will stop reading because this is Tim's day. But I guess nothing or no one can stop her from being apart from that textbook.
Luna and Alex were not here yet because they both agreed that they will both buy us some food. We all agreed to that.
This is Timothee's last time playing for his team so we are here to support him. As I said, he was an athlete. A swimming athlete to be more precise.
"Na saan siya?" I asked Forsythe. I don't want to ask Forsythia. She seems serious... and scary. Mukha siyang sisigawan ako! I don't want to get yelled!
"Hindi ko alam. Baka naghahanda pa," Forsythe answered. I nodded my head at him.
Seems like they are used to this stuff. Well, they have been friends for years. Meanwhile, here I am. Naninibago sa lahat ng bagay. Remember the time that I said me and Luna didn't watch this kind of stuff? That is still true. Until, now. It's now a lie.
Because here we are, at the edge of our seat. Looking at the pool while trying to find which is and what is what. It's not Timothee's time to swim yet but we just like to watch other things. It's getting boring to just sit here while not doing anything?! Besides what's wrong with watching others?! Why am I suddenly so defensive?! Nakukuha ko na 'to kay Forsythe!
I grabbed some more food at Luna's lap. I'm so hungry. It's good that they both bought a lot of food. Seems like they know me that much.
Anyway, I heard from Forsythe that it was now Timothee's time. We all fix our seatings and looked intently at him. Forsythia even closed her books.
All of our eyes were on Tim. He was wearing his usual swimming gear. He was stretching and was breathing hard while looking at the pool. He even let out a sigh. He's nervous, huh? Must be. I mean, this is his last game. The fear of failure must be high. He probably is thinking that if he loses he learned nothing for the past few years that he had been swimming. Maybe? I don't know. I don't live on his head.
After he stretched, his eyes somehow landed on us. He flashed out again his silly smile as he sees that we are there to support him. Because of that, we all cheered his way. I shouted a simple 'galingan mo' and then the others followed. Well, there's one exception to this matter, Forsythe.
"Para kay Forsythia!" He suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs. I laughed so loud at what he said.
But that's not the only reason why I laughed. Because even from afar, I could see that Timothee was red. His ears and necks. Heck, even his cheeks. Mas lalo lang ako natawa, when he looked at his other side.
