It was after school. I was in front. Seating in one of the benches. My eyes wandered my surroundings. There are the busy streets.

Another vehicle driving in and away. The grey sky that was coming out from their turbulence was a bother to all people as they try to smell nice and not to smell like their perfumes are the road.

Also, they were a part of the things my sight is seeing. Some are having conversations with another. Some are waving their hands in the air as they try to score transportation for home. Some are eating with foods that are on sticks. It was a busy street, I tell you.

If I would have gotten my car and drove towards him, I would have been there fastly right now. But that's not what he wanted. He said that he wants me to be the one picked up this time. This is his apology gift to me or something.

I didn't say anything to that. But, here I am. Stuck sitting on a rock hard bench. I'm rethinking my action while keeping quiet. This is why I like keeping quiet, you can think of all things that you need to think of while cursing the man who was supposed to be here right now but instead he is still on the road.

"Anne?" My brows furrowed when I heard someone call my name. Someone that I don't want to see.

I covered my face with my hair on both sides. Trying to make him think that I wasn't the one he was calling or the one he was seeing. I kept repeating on my breath, each moment by moment. Please go away, that was the sayings that were on my breath right now. I hope he really does go away.

"Anne?" He asks again. Oh my gosh! Please someone hear my pleas! "Alam kong ikaw 'yan. You can stop hiding from me you know," He tried to coax me into saying yes into his pleas. I guess I've been caught now. There's nothing I can't do.

I push my hair with my fingers then onto my ears. I coughed, as I also wish that I won't mess up the way I will talk to this person. A person whom I don't want to talk to right now. I bit my cheeks then turned my head at his way as I glanced at him with my eyes. My lips turned a sided smile at him, but just seconds pass by when it turned by a shaky one and was obvious it was gonna fall any time now.

"Sa'n ka punta?" Again with the questions. Can't he stop asking me? Because that would be a pleasure for me if he would.

"Diyan lang," I answered him as my smiles fall. I also looked at the other side. I don't want to look at him. Because there he is again. Making me feel things. Making me confuse.

"Ako din diyan lang pupunta," I could very hear his defensive tone again. Also, the stutter was obvious with every word that he says. "Sino kasama mo?" Again! I groaned in my head because I was getting tired of his unstoppable questions. "Ako, walang kasama." That followed with a shaky laugh.

"Hmm, okay." I scratched the tip of my nose after I said that. I obviously avoided his question to me. I don't want him to know who I'm hanging with. Things might come up again. Especially questions.

After that silence followed. He didn't ask questions. I didn't answer questions. There were just the noisy vehicles around us.

Curious about what he might be doing or if he is even there, my head turned against him. Since I was sitting and he was there with his two tall feet standing, I needed to extend my neck upwards.

Oh gosh! I could see his adam's apple from down here. It was moving up and down. I bit my cheeks harder as his apple was becoming more define the more I stare at it. I also could see how thick his lashes are while I'm looking upwards at him.

My heart started to beat for the way he was looking in my sight. The butterflies in my stomach started to grow and climbed to my heart. A smile was creeping up my face because of the realization that he was looking perfectly fine to me. Not just perfectly fine— He was perfectly hot right now.
