Chapter five

//the next day//
(Amelia's POV:)

I was standing at the gates as the leaders and the people of our allied villages arrived to the Frostbourne. There where a two old villages, but one new-ish one like Glacierford.

Thankfully, Daryll woke up and recovered well yesterday night and said that he would be able to attend the meeting. He was of course questioned for what happened. He said the same things Ceris said, besides the part where my parents where kidnapped, Ceris did say only her and my dad where there when he took my mom. I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice someone approach me

"Little Amelia. Is that really you?" A familiar voice said from behind me,

I turn to see Herobrione standing there smiling down at me.

"Hero!" I say,

Herobrione and Karlos started a village called Phoenix. I've never been there, but momma and dad tell me a year after the war ended, both of them left to start a village where people of the Nether realm could live, work, and be treated equally. I've met them a few times, but only when my parents and them where having meetings. One of the only things I do know is their saying,
"The past is just ashes in the wind. Rebirth. Begin. And begin again."

"Now, you've grown quite a bit since the last time I've seen you. Where is your brother?"

"He's inside. How are you?" I ask.

"I've been well, it really has been a while since we've last seen each other. When was that last?" He asked.

"That was... when I was graduating knight school! I was-"

"Thirteen. So...three years ago."

"Yup, it's just so good to see you!" I say, he smiled.

"Good to see you too... however I wish it was on better circumstances." He said.

"I wish that too... well, you know where the room is, I'll see you later."

"See you later, Lady Amelia." Hero said walking off.

Not even a minute later, I saw a familiar blue and white karmabit fly through the air and land in front of me. I watched as Ciara teleported right in front of me.

"Ciara!" I give the older woman a hug. "Where are the other Netherbane, Kane, Rosa? Are they coming?" I asked.

She nods, "Yup, all of us will be here. I wanted to see you faster but Kane said it was too dangerous to walk alone.... so, you could see what I did." I laugh.

"Will they be okay?" I ask.

"They'll be fine, and they should be here any-"

Suddenly, someone shot an arrow which just barely missed Ciara. We look to see the Netherbane standing there, Rosa holding Kane's crossbow and by the looks of it she stole it.

"Ciara! You gave me a heart attack!" Rosa yelled at her friend before turning to me,

"Hello dear, you doing okay." I nod and she smiles, "Good to here." She turned back to Ciara.

"I turn away for one darn second and you teleport away!" Rosa turned back to me,

"Of course, I don't blame you for this dear. We will head to the meeting room right away." She said ant they all ran off.

"Is that it?" One of the guards shouted to me.

"Yes it is! The Enderwatchers and New Glacierford are already here! Close the gates!" I shouted to the guard standing on the wall.

"You heard the lady, close the gates!"

(???'s POV:)

Darn it! Too late. I thought to myself as I saw the gates start to close.

Thinking quickly, I pull up my hood and teleported in. I can't have her see me, or that will be 303's last straw with me, and I can't risk losing my chance at revenge.

I pull up my mask and walked through town. Considering the fact I have already been banished from Frostbourne, that'll make it harder for me to sneak around

"Hey who are you?" Some girl asked.

When I turned around, there was a girl who looked oddly... familiar. She had dark blue eyes and long, dark brown, (almost black) and lavender hair which was tied up into a ponytail. She had black, grey, and ruby armor, and was carrying two diamond swords. Another thing that stuck out was that she was a Nether~kin but looked to be rather controlled of her humanity. Odd.

"Why do you need to know!" I shouted at her, she looked embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, I forgot, there are so many villages here and you just looked lost, sorry!"

"Yeah, yeah, didn't ask. Anyway, where is the meeting room." I asked rather annoyed.

She quickly gave me directions before asking I question I didn't know how to answer,

"If you're going to the meeting, what village do you run or are running temporarily?"

"T-The End City." I say trying to play it safe.

"Oh, so your the person who's supposed to take over for my parents!"

Wait...parents?

"Uh, what do you mean by that?" I ask, she looks at me confused.

"Well- oh, that meeting has already started, you might want to hurry."

Great, won't tell 303 that I just missed out on information. I run pretty fast to get to the outside of the room and use an invisibility spell so I am able to listen without getting caught.
