Saying Yes to the Dress

*six months later*
*Y/n's POV*

Y/n was out dress shopping with Airrazor, Waspinator, Botanica, and Blackaracnia. Y/n and Megatron had finally agreed on a theme for the wedding, which they decided on a fae theme. Botanica knew where a dress shop was to help with the design of the dress. "So where are we going, Botanica?" Y/n asks. They were driving down the road, heading to the outskirts of Paradise Falls. Botanica was driving, Y/n sat in the passenger seat, Airrazor, Waspinator, and Blackaracnia sat in the back seat of the car. It had a roomy backseat so the three who sat in the back seat were not ask squished.

"It's a costume shop called Fae's Circle. The shop owner takes requests for cosplays as well as costumes," said Botanica.

"How come I've never heard of this costume shop?"

"It's not very well known. She just moved her shop in three years ago," said Waspinator.

"I guess I'll check it out then." It was about another thirty more minutes before they get to Fae's Circle. Y/n gets out of the car as soon as Botanica parked the car. Shs couldn't believe the sight before her. The shop, was on a bug plot of land, was surrounded by what looked like a fairy garden. "Why does this look like I'm in Elias's garden from the TV show, Ancient Magnus Bride?"

"Gardening is one of my hobbies," said Nia, the shopping owner, as she steps outside. "I'll ask you nicely, please refrain from picking any of the flowers or else."

"Or else what?" Blackaracnia asks.

"I'll make you pay for each flower that is picked," said Nia in a threatening tone.

"Your garden is quite lovely. You must care for the flowers every day," said Botanica.

"I try my best. Now why are you here?"

"Botanica brought me here so I can get a wedding dressed commissioned," said Y/n.

Nia's face brightens with a smile. "Oh I love a good challenge. Please come inside and tell me what you would like to be made." Nia hurries back inside her shop.

Y/n, Botanica, Airrazor, Waspinator, and Blackaracnia follow after Nia and into the shop. The shop felt small inside since it was a bit over crowded. Mannequins stood here and there, with either completely cosplays or half-finished works on them. Pieced of props were in boxes along with paints and supplies on the shelves.

"Sorry about the mess. Had a group come in and commission a few Overarching characters so its a mad scramble to get things started," said Nia. She sits down behind the counter. "So what kind of dress are you wanting to be made?"

"I want you to design me a fairy queen dress. The wedding theme will be fae themed and I was wondering if you could make it," said Y/n.

"Make it?" Nia laughs a little. "It can be done." She gets up from her chair and goes over to one of the bookcases. She pulls down one of the folders and hands it to Y/n. "Design, color, and pattern are what I need to know. Choose what you want and we can work from there. Also color as well." Nia disappeared into the back to grab her laptop to work on the designs as soon as they were decided on.

"I heard she was thorough but not like this," said Airrazor.

"When it comes to the kind of business, you tend to have to be," said Y/n. After spending an hour deciding on what is to be made, she gives Nia her design options.

Nia enters the design options into her laptop and messes around with PhotoShop to get a few pictures made.

Y/n looks through the designs for the dresses until she finds one. "I like this one," said Y/n. She shows Nia what she wanted to be done for the dress.

Nia looks at the design option. "This I can work with. Now when is the wedding?"

"Two and a half years from now," said Y/n.

"That's good. That will give me time to work on it. With the convention in town in the next six months, I'm a little backed up on orders."

"So how do you want to be paid for this commission?"

"Half now and the other half when the dress is finished. Usually I have people pay in full up front since I've had a few peppering already not pay for their finished work." Nia puts the folder and her laptop away. "Plus I had to get the police involved with a recent robbery. Caught the guy right as he was breaking into the window. Thrown that thing over there..." Nia gestures at a prop made to look like the Javalok from Warframe. "At the guys. Scared him before he could get very far. "The guy tried to steal a complete cosplay one of my clients asked me to make of Cloud Strife."

"Does this place get a lot of business?" Waspinator asks.

"Depends on the time of year really. Hey sorry to keep you guys. Want to stay for lunch before you head home?"

Y/n, Botanica, Airrazor, Waspinator, and Blackaracnia give Nia a confused look.

"Oh right. I forgot to mention that my house is right above the shop. Makes it easier to pay rent and utilities," said Nia. "Come on. It's my treat." She heads upstairs.

"Shall we?" Botanica ask.

"Its rude not to turn down free food," said Waspinator.

Y/n laughs. "Hey think of it this way. We got a new friend to hang out with now." She heads upstairs, following Nia. Y/n couldn't wait to see the finished results for the dress when the time comes.
