CHARLOTTE
FRIDAY, NOV 3rd, 2020

"Margaret kicked me out." the girl said suddenly, standing in the doorway looking at the boy waiting for a reply. He stared at her trying to figure out why she had gone to his and not Madi's. "What?" he exclaimed, shocked. "She kicked you out?"  Charlotte nodded slowly. "My dads home.." the boy started but before he could even finish Charlotte said "I should go, this was a mistake, i just didn't have anywhere else to go and.. i'm sorry" she rambled as she began to turn her back to him. There she was trying to walk out the door again, but he wasn't going to let her this time, he'd made this mistake before and he had never regretted anything more. "No wait.." he said as he grabbed his jacket and closed the door behind him. "Let's go" the boy said as a smile formed across his face.

"Where are we going it's like 10pm, no where is even open at this time" she said jogging to catch up to him. "Well you'll have to wait and see" Louis said, smiling back at her. He held his hand out and she grabbed it immediately, there fingers interlocking as he pulled her closer.  It was 10:14pm and there they were in the middle of the park. She laid in his arms as the two looked up at the sky and watched the stars.

"So she kicked you out," he said after a moment. "Has it happened before?"  "Only once," she said. "I was thirteen. Things sort of got out of hand...i can't even remember what we were fighting about..." she continued. Louis looked so sad it almost overwhelmed her. "Charlotte . . ." he voiced, she just shook her head. "Please don't give me your pity, Louis."  "Okay," he said quietly. "Why.. why do you let her treat you like shit" he said looking into her blue eyes. "At the end of the day she's still my mum" she voiced breaking eye contact with him. The world was silent for a moment, she felt herself falling asleep in the boys arms.

"Charlotte.." Louis said quietly. "Yeah.." she replied in a tired voice. "Tell me about yourself, i wanna know your hopes and dreams. everything you want in life." the boy said as he played with her long, blonde hair. She giggled for a second. No one had ever shown this much interest in her. She was confused. The boy who had once told her he never believed in love, now had his arms wrapped around her and was asking her what her dreams were. "I'm not to sure i guess" she said. "I mean there's this fashion school in Paris, I've always dreamed of going to since I was little." "That's my dream." She said looking up at the boy into his brown eyes. He smiled at her and then took his vision back to the night sky. "What about you" she said intrigued to know his answer. "I don't really know either I guess" he said quietly. "Come on surely there's something" she begged trying to get him to tell her. "What about something to do with your art. I've seen you paint Louis, you're talented. I think you should become an artist" she replied. "Yeah, I guess so" he said smiling at her. She had guessed his dream without him even telling her.

"Well do you want to ask me anything" Louis said as their eyes met once again. She thought for a moment "What's your middle name" she said. She never really understood why but she always liked hearing people explain the meanings behind there names. "Niklaus" Louis said shyly. "It's after some mythical legend my mum was obsessed with." he continued, his voice slowly getting louder. "As in Niklaus Mikaelson, the great evil" she said. She was surprised, she had heard many different names but this one, was by far the coolest.  "You're kinda like him" she voiced catching the boys attention. "How so?" He said focusing all his attention on her. "Well, he liked to paint too. And he didn't believe in love either at first, that was all until he met the girl that offered him the one thing that he never believed he had." she voiced "unconditional love" they both said at the exact same time. She looked up, making eye contact with the boy. The two froze for a minute.

"Well what's your middle name" he asked. "Allie" she said. "Is there any special meaning behind it?" He asked. "I don't think so, but I like to believe i'm named after Allie Hamilton from the notebook" she said. The two looked back up at the stars for a moment until the silence was disrupted once again.

"Louis.." she said softly. "Why are you here with me right now." He thought for a second before letting the words out. He had wanted to tell her for awhile now but after there argument he hadn't had the chance too. "i fancy you." he said. She looked up at him, her facial expression said it all. She couldn't believe it. "is that so hard to believe?" he said as a smile began to form on his face. "Yes" she said smiling. "Why... you're beautiful, you're strong, who wouldn't fancy you" he continued. She looked at him, smiling. There was no hiding how she felt by the look on her face.

"There's just one problem." He continued. Her heart dropped at the sound of his words. Just when she finally felt something was going right in her life, she now felt as it was all about to go wrong. "The problem is," he said as he leaned in, "if I kissed you, I don't think I'd be able to stop." "Then don't" she said as she leaned in closer to him. His lips connecting with hers. She reached up and ran her hands through his soft, messy hair as she curved into him. The kiss was so passionate and he was right, they both couldn't stop.
