"How's the shop planning?"

The night before they return Hogwarts, George has come over to Jessie's room for a little chat on her bed before they sleep.

"Fair enough, we'd be ready before summer for sure though."
"...Summer?" Jessie chuckles confusedly, "You surely don't treat education like a thing."

"Of course, no one will blame us for skipping class when we are finally doing it officially."
Jessie opens her eyes wide.
"...You guys are dropping out??? For real?"
"Haven't been more real."
"...You can't just drop out?? You're in your final year already."

"Yes we can." he grins so happily, "We've spent ages convincing mom and she finally said yes."
Jessie looks away and looks back at him.
George is leaving before summer?? She did not expect that.

"...But have you considered not leaving? I mean at least you graduate first." She slightly pouts without noticing, melting George's heart instantly.

"...Merlin, you don't want me to leave??" George grins and jokingly looks at her face closely.
"It really feels great to get out of school if you really hate it." She avoids his question and keeps a smile on her face. She really fears separating for some reasons that she forces herself not to think about it to avoid getting sad.

"You know there are things called 'letters' in this world." He puts his arm around her shoulders.
"Yeah and also things like 'never write back'."
"Hey look at me," he grabs her face but Jessie keeps turning from him to hide her disappointment.

"...You're not crying are you?" He grins so hard having noticed her eyes are surprisingly turning slightly red.

"You wish." Immediately closing her eyes, she lets out a smirk to avoid her blast of emotions.
"I will keep writing as long as you want me to."
"Mmhmm."
"And we can meet in Hogsmeade."
"Mm." She sounds a bit shaky not knowing how funny it is to see her holding her tears that hard by just closing her eyes.

"...Do you really read me?" He chuckles and pokes her forehead after looking at her facial expressions closely. Jessie nods quickly without saying a word, she doesn't want to trigger her sadness explosion.

"Don't be sad, love. I'm so sorry." Seeing her being this upset just because of him, George can't help smiling and covers his mouth. He starts to feel bad for leaving so he hugs her and rubs her back. He doesn't want to leave her either of course, but it has always been his dream to open a joke shop with his brother.

"There are loads of holidays and we'll stay in the burrow too." He says and kisses her cheek.
"Okay."

"...So dusty here eh?" He laughs and wipes her tears accidentally escaped from her eyes.
Jessie hits him gently knowing her feelings are exposed with a bright smile.

"You won't miss me will you? I knew it." She jokes as she is trying to lighten up the mood. She has still not yet get used to people treating her too nicely
"Jessie, I'm so disappointed with you." He mocks Jessie which makes Jessie laugh immediately.

"You better speed up the product development." She lies down after a deep breathe.
"We need your inspiration." He lies down beside her with his palm supporting his head.
"Umm...I would love something fluffy."
"All of a sudden?"
"Yeah," she giggles, "Like a pet. Oh or something sparkly too. Like something glittery that can flow in the air. That would be so pretty." She says excitedly as if she's imagining her own fantasies.

"What does it do with pranks?"
"... Nothing. You know I don't like pranks. Please don't put something like a trap at the entrance or any other places. At least I want to feel safe when I enter."
"Mate, that's brilliant."
"Oh goodness..."

They suddenly fall into silence, looking at each other closely. Their hearts pound louder with their blood flowing faster under their faces' skin.
George gently tucks Jessie's tiny bundle of hair behind her ear, whose hand didn't leave after doing so.

They slowly approach each other's faces closer and closer, hearing each other's soft breathing.

And all of a sudden,

"Alohomora!"

"What the-"

Jessie immediately gets off the bed and stands back. Turns out it's Fred who's outside, he just shout behind the door instead of breaking in. He must have seen George's shoes outside Jessie's room.
"Are you crazy??!!!" She shouts to Fred somewhere outside.

"Merlin. Your reaction is way too disappointing-"
"Ahhh he scared me so bad!!!" She pats on her chest and lies down back on the bed.
"We're not committing a crime." George looks at her.
"I'm sorry, Georgie." She pouts and hugs George, who then gets her closer.
"How are you gonna repay me-"

"Choo!"

Jessie turns away and lets out a very tiny little sneeze just before their nose touch each other.

"Seriously mate?" Both of them laugh without any bit of awkwardness.
"It really is so dusty here." She says and wipes away the eye water come out of her laughter and sneeze.

"You sneeze like a dog."
"Really? That's fantastic!"
"Blimey... I don't get it now."
"At least I don't sneeze like you."
