Green light flashes across the room. Everyone's heart has skipped a beat.

Jessie doesn't know what to do, she immediately drags George to see it having her poorest vision she can have.

"......Who...?" She asks in fear.
"...Sirius."

Sirius is killed by Bellatrix Lestrange.

They all silently watch Sirius being absorbed by the archway emotionlessly. He is gone. Lupin immediately runs to Harry, who hasn't realised the truth after seconds. The room is then filled with his scream. Lupin hugs him tight but his rage over the truth has not been over. He pushes him away and chases Bellatrix.

"Listen, get out of here now." Lupin rushes to Jessie and the twins and urges them to leave with Tonks and the others. Thing are getting worse than everyone's expecting.

They then listen to him and leave the room with their straight faces. Jessie tries her hardest to stay calm thought Harry's scream is torture to her. It sounds exactly the same when Cedric died, and she clearly didn't forget how depressing it was.

"Use the floo network, we've cleared out the way for you." Tonks explains to them all except Harry, who's somewhere still in the ministry.

"What about Harry-"
"Remus and the others are after him. They've broken the prophecy anyway, there's nothing can be done by them." Tonks knows Hermione's gonna be worried, but they must leave or they may be in greater danger.
"C'mon, I'd be in trouble if I couldn't get you all out." Tonks says and pats on Jessie's shoulder.
"Or your mother is coming-"

She accidentally spills out the line while everyone is here. Everyone just looks at her being shocked, especially Jessie.

"...Gogogo off you go-" Tonks tries to push them away and distracts them from what she's just said.

They've all returned to Hogwarts after Tonk's persuasion, knowing they would only add trouble to the adults if they stay.

"...Get some rest." Hermione says to everyone before they return to their places. "We're staying here." She says to Ron.

"I'm staying too." Jessie immediately adds.
"No you were ill just now-"
"Hermione, I'm fine now." She wants to stay because she is really worried about Harry.
"I'll call you down when he returns." Hermione still makes Jessie go to sleep.

Before the other Gryffindors separate their ways to their rooms, George suddenly pauses Jessie.
"Hey," he pats on her head. "You're alright?"
His question has paused everyone's feet, they may have all realised Jessie has something hidden from them.
"...Of course." Jessie says with her dried tears on her face.
"...Get some sleep." Though George wants to hear something Jessie hasn't mentioned about, he wouldn't force her to say it.

The next morning, Harry suddenly returns. Hermione and Ron instantly jump, not expecting he would be returning this late.

"Harry-" Hermione walks to him.
"Where's Jess?" Harry says in no time.
"Mate, what's wrong-"

"RON! WHERE IS JESS?!" Harry shouts.

The shout has scared them both, they did not expect he would be looking for her so bad. The loud voice of him has filled in the whole common room, and of course Jessie can hear it. She rushes down to the common room and sees Harry.

"Have you got anything to tell us?"
"Harry-"
Harry immediately pushes her to the wall.

"WHO ARE YOU?!"
He screams on her face with his wand pointing towards her neck.
"Harry! Stop it!" Hermione tries to pull him away.

The twins, Ginny and Neville have also rushed down to the common room.
"Stop it mate!!!" George is so shocked seeing the scene.

"Shut up!" Harry yells.
"First she didn't want to join Dumbledore's Army, then broke into my mind, now you let us all go to the ministry. Veritaserum-tolerant?? You're a psychic aren't you?? You knew all of this would happen! How long have you been planning??!"
"Harry please don't-"
"HERMIONE SHE'S ONE OF THEM!"

"Is that real? Jess?" Ron asks Jessie who's been pressed on the wall.

"SAY IT!!"
"...Athena Moreur is my mother and I worked for them before Hogwarts." She says with her tears held back, letting Harry vent his anger on her. He's lost the only family left afterall.

George and the others look at Jessie, not expecting this would actually come out from her.

"If it wasn't you, Sirius would be very much alive right now-"
"This can't be her fault!"
"Hermione, she could be the one behind all of these-"

"...Why would I do that?" Jessie is so upset that Harry would actually think like that though she knows he's currently just bounded by anger. He's her best friend after all.
"I don't know? Because of your loving family?"

"Harry, if she's done bad things she would be sent to Azkaban instead of Hogwarts. She's obviously innocent-"

"No."

Everyone has turned their focus back on Jessie.

"I won't be there until they've realised I'm no longer underaged." She says with her trembling voice. "I will go to them if they have forgotten it."

"Jessie..." Hermione is speechless. "...What did you do?!"

No one but Jessie knows exactly what she's done that leads to her 'crime'. But till now she's still refusing to tell anyone. She's decided to plead guilty even if the France ministry isn't looking for her, everything have been screwed up anyway.

"Nice, I want to see you being locked up."
"Harry!" Hermione continues to stop him.
"Then you can continue your bloody mother-daughter reunion while being suffered to death!" He continues shouting.

"FAMILY KILLERS CAN NEVER DESERVE LIFE-"

*Slap
Jessie slaps Harry on his face with all her strength.

"I AM NO FAMILY KILLER!"

She screams on his face with her tears burst out. She's had enough. Pushing Harry's arms away hard, Jessie rushes out the common room while wiping her tears.

Hermione doesn't know what to do. It's just painful to watch two of her best friends fight. No one has ever seen Jessie being this mad, especially when she's got really sensitive when Harry said "family killer".

Seeing Jessie run away, George is sure that she is completely broken. He wishes he could talk to her but he knows she's not gonna respond properly. Hit with this sudden fact, he himself is indeed shocked. But he's clear that Jessie is a good person regardless her identity. There's no single moment of him doubting her morality.

"Let's get out of here, shall we?" Ron pats on Harry's shoulder.
