the moment you've all been waiting for

A month had gone by and I hadn't seen Lafayette for an entire day, he didn't want to see me before the wedding, so he constantly had the other guys entering rooms before him to check if I was there or not, but today being our wedding day I let it slide, though I just wanted to be with Lafayette I let him have his fun, I looked around the room, angelica was doing my hair, peggy and Eliza where helping each other get ready

"So what's the walking order again?" Peggy questioned

"Well obviously its Eliza and alex, me and john and you with Hercules " angelica responded

"Uh..actually...Alex has to walk me down the aisle...and Hercules is the flower girl..he specifically requested it" I bit my lip

"Wait...so then who are me and Eliza walking with?" Peggy questioned

"Well, Aaron burr is in the wedding party and I was thinking he and peggy would talk together and..Eliza I'm sorry..I completely forgot alex was filled for two roles.." I sighed

"Its completely fine y/n, you planned a wedding in a month there where bound to be complications" eliza smiled at me

"I...ok..." I furrowed my brows, of course I forgot, god I was so dumb sometimes now Eliza has to walk by herself, soon I saw the door open, it was Hercules

"Hello ladies, it's a very special day so I came to make sure your all fitted correctly" Hercules said with a smile as he looked at everyone " you all seem to be fitted just right " he looked proud, probably because he tailored our dresses

"I would hope so" I giggled, then looked at Eliza, I just, didn't want her to feel weird walking by herself "I just, hope everything is going to be ok.."

"Why wouldn't it?" Hercules questioned

"I-..." I looked down "I accidentally marked Alexander for two spots in my walking order" I sighed

"What's he put down for?" Hercules questioned

"Walking me down the aisle and walking down with eliza.." I look at Hercules "why?"

"Hmm..maybe I can help, I'll go think of something, you, just relax and let me handle it" Hercules smiled softly, then left the room

"What do you think he meant by that?" Peggy questioned

"Who knows" I sigh

"At least he's trying to help" eliza chuckled, about an hour passed and it was time to get ready and line up, we walked outside, to where we met up with the boys behide a bush wall the separated where we were from the wedding set up, Alexander linked arms with me as john linked arms with angelica and Aaron linked arms with peggy, Hercules grabbed his floor basket and looked around a little then smiled as they started to line up, I felt a tap on my shoulder and when I looked over, I saw George Washington

"Y/n..you look lovely today" Washington smiled

"Thank you" I smiled

"I've heard you've had a mishap in your planning, I was hoping I could be of help" Washington explained briefly "so, would you allow me to walk you down the aisle y/n?" He asked

Alexander looked at Washington "last I checked I'm the only relative y/n has" 

"Alexander calm down" I shake my head

"He isn't our dad y/n " Alex said sternly

"No, but he is the closest thing we've ever had to one" I look at Alex then at Washington "I'd be honored to have you walk me down the aisle George " I smiled at him, unlinking mine and Alexander's arms

Washington chuckled "Alex I'm not trying to impose, just help" he held his hand out to me and we linked arms

"Yeah well..dont go thinking that just because y/n thinks of you like a dad that it'll ever be true " Alexander huffed and walked over to Eliza, linking arms with her

I rolled my eyes at Alexander then looked at Washington "I dont feel that way..if you couldn't tell...I'm happy to have you as a father figure " I smiled at Washington, soon the ceremony started, alex and Eliza walked, then john and angelica, then Aaron and peggy, then Hercules walked down tossing flower pedals, then, I walked down with Washington, when we got to the end of the aisle he let go of me, shooing me off to Lafayette before sitting next to Martha, I walked over to Lafayette and smiled, the preacher started the ceremony and everything went on just perfectly, of course no one objected, we both said our I do's and I swear I faintly heard Hercules blowing his nose into a tissue

"You may now kiss the bride" the preacher said

Lafayette had no hesitation as he pulled me into a warm embrace and placed a soft kiss on my lips, it only lasted a few seconds but it was perfect, we linked arms and walked down the aisle, heading inside while everyone else walked over to the after party area which was also outside, I stayed close to Lafayette as we soon walked back outside, when we did we went around greeting everyone, thanking guests for coming and I met a few of Lafayettes french friends, we danced once, it was a bit of a disaster so we stayed away from dancing from then on, as the sun started to set the party died down, me and Lafayette got into a carriage that brought us to a house I hadn't seen before

"Why are we here laf?" I questioned as I looked up at him

Lafayette smiled at me "this..is ours" he kissed my cheek

"..it is?" I questioned, we walked in as Lafayette showed me around

"Oui, its ours" Lafayette pulled me into a loving embrace as he put his arms around my waist

"Its beautiful " I rested my head on Lafayettes chest

"Oui, but you're still the most beautiful thing here" Lafayette said as he picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room, setting me on our bed, he laid down next to me and wrapped his arms around me, slowly kissing me as he slowly undid my corset, the night ended perfectly
