years have past since lafayette left and its been hard but i've managed to get over him, which is good, i finished my studies as well and today i had plans with arron burr who had became the latest  senator for new york, we where going for a walk, he had some concerns about his wifes health that he wanted to ask me about, and he did, her health didnt sound good which was sad but once we got to the cabinet he changed the topic, he had a cabinet meeting so i just decided i'd walk home with alexander

"so uhm, anyways" arron quickly tried to change the topic off of his wifes health "How does the orphan, Immigrant, decorated war vet Unite the colonies through more debt? Fight the other founding fathers 'til he has to forfeit? Have it all, lose it all You ready for more yet?" he questioned then continued "Treasury Secretary. Washington's the President Ev'ry American experiment sets a precedent Not so fast. Someone came along to resist him Pissed him off until we had a two-party system  You haven't met him yet, you haven't had the chance 'Cause he's been the ambassador to France But someone's gotta keep the American promise You simply must meet Thomas" he smiled at me then turned to see who he was talking about "thomas!" he waved at thomas

i watched as a man in a magenta jacket walked over to arron, he was quite tall and had poofy hair, his dark skin and brown eyes looked great with the magenta, which was honestly surprising

"what do ya want burr?"  thomas asked, looking down at arron

"i wanted you to meet someone thomas" arron smiled then looked over at me "thomas this is y/n, y/n this is thomas" he smiled, then walked away, going over to a man in a gray/silver suit

"well, hello there doll, thomas jefferson at your service" thomas smiled at me, reaching his hand out, i put my hand out expecting a handshake but instead he gently brought my hand up to his mouth and placed a small kiss on it, winking at me, i felt my face heat up a bit as i pulled my hand away

"hello.." i felt a little uncomfortable but quickly got over it "you seem..a lot nicer then i thought be" i giggled softly

"oh?" he raised his eyebrows "so you've heard things about me, all good things i hope"

"...no...all uhm..bad things " i smiled softly

"whaa-" he had a confused and shocked expression

arron walked over to james madison, smirking, he was definitely planning something 

"what are you doing burr?" james questioned, clearly suspicious of arron

"just wait for it" arron told james, sitting down

"why'd you introduce thomas to that girl?" james asked looking at arron

 "wait for it" arron told james again

i was about to tell thomas where i heard all the bad things about him, when i heard alexander yell, then i saw alex rush over,  thomas sighed

"here we go" thomas shook his head

"why are you bothering y/n jafferson" alex crossed his arms

"alex..." i looked at alex

"its ok y/n i've got this" alex said keeping his eyes on thomas

"so...you two know each other..that explains where you heard all these horrible things about me" thomas sighed

alex looked at me then at thomas "where you flirting with my sister?" he just, looked surprised and mad

"your sister?" thomas looked at me "how you two related? y/n is so much nicer and prettier then you" he said while looking down at alex

"EXCUSE ME?" alex exclaimed, but before he could do anything else i grabbed his arm

"alexander." i said in a low tone 

"what?" alex asked, clearly confused but still very mad at thomas

"no..we dont need you fighting people before the meeting.." i said, still in a low tone, alex sighed 

"your right, no fighting before the meeting" alex crossed his arms

"run along now hamilton" thomas said moving his hand to shoo alex away, alex was about to do something but saw the president and walked over to him, thomas watched alex leave, smirking "daddy must have been calling" thomas turned to see me and stopped smirking

"what?.." i questioned

"oh uh, nothing, im just sorry you had to see that" thomas smiled 

"mm, im used to it, alexander is my brother after all" i shrugged and saw someone in a gray/silver suit walk over

"thomas, their starting soon" the man said then coughed into a silk rag

thomas nodded and looked around "well, allow me to introduce you to james" he said as he looked at me and put his arm around james "y/n, this is james, james, y/n"

"hello" i waved to him, he looked a bit sick, he just waved back, i walked a little closer to james "are you alright sir?.." i asked softly, thomas raised his eyebrows 

"huh?..oh im fine" james smiled

"are you sure?.." i asked concerned "im a nurse so if you arent feeling well i can help.." i told him, both men looked surprised

"im sure" james said as he smiled softly

thomas took his arm off of james and extended his hand to me "well allow me to walk you to the room miss washington stays in during the meetings" he smiled at me

"ok" i gave thomas a small nod, not taking his hand and waited for him to start walking, thomas soon retracted his hand when he realized i wasnt taking it, his faced turned pink from embarrassment and he walked over to a room and opened the door for me, giving me a small smirk and wink as i walked into the room, he was still blushing from embarrassment and put his hand on his forehead as he shut the door, i looked around the room seeing martha washington, i smiled and sat next to her, we chatted for a few hours then heard some yells, we exchanged a concerned look before i got up and opened the door, thomas and alex where almost straggling each other, luckily washington stepped in and broke the fight up, thomas held his cheek and alex was pretty much dragged away by washington, i walked over to check on everyone, i walked to thomas 

"are you alright?.." i asked

thomas looked at me, jumping a little "im fine darlin"  he moved his hand away from his cheek, revealing a small cut, he smiled softly

i shook my head and grabbed his hand, then walked over to where they kept a medical kit, forcing thomas to follow me, i made him sit on a chair that was nearby and i disinfected his cut, thomas blushed a little but kept a slight smirk on his face

"so does this mean you're already fallin for me?" thomas questioned as he looked into my eyes

i giggled softly "not at all thomas" i finished disinfecting his cut and put a small bandage on his cut  then looked at him

"aw, no need to be shy doll" thomas smirked

"trust me, im not" i smiled "im simply just not interested " i told him then put things away, thomas seemed like he took a minute to process what i had told him

"well, im sure i'll wear you down at some point, you wont be able to resist my charms for long" thomas smiled and walked away after winking at me
