Amajiki's PoV (the younger one)
"U-um... You.. Y-yesterday you said you w-were gay," I whispered as I stared at Mikhail's back. He turned to me and nodded.
"Yeah. Sorry if that's a problem with you," he said awkwardly, I quickly shook my head.
"I-it's not," I said frantically before Mumbling, "I-I'm the same a-after all..."
"I'm glad," Mikhail smiled. He's so bright, why does he have to suffer under societies wrath? I suddenly found myself staring at him as he let some of his sadness break through the warm smile that he was wearing.
"I-in the past I've... Not really had a good experience with being gay and others knowing about it," he said. Yeah my older self said that. I bit the inside of my cheek as I thought about possible pains he could've gone through. But even with all of that, he stuck to being his bright happy self, even if it's hiding his scars.
"O-oh," I looked down before grabbing his hands and smiling the best I could up to him, I was still really nervous about us being so close, "I-I don't c-care whether your g-gay or n-not because you're m-my friend and I-I like you a-a lot."
He stared at me, and I shifted nervously under his gaze. My gaze was absorbed by his own. His eyes are really pretty.
"Whoever you get to marry in the future is one lucky woman," he smiled as he looked down at our hands.
"Lucky man," I corrected, managing to stop myself from stuttering out my words as he looked at me in confusion, "I-I marry a-a man."
He gave me a surprised look before smiling.
"I see," he nodded before closing his eyes and letting out a small yawn, sleep tugging him away from our conversation, "then...he's very...lucky."
He let out another yawn.
"N-no... I think I'm v-very lucky to h-have you," I whispered, noticing he'd been wiped out and smiled as I tried to let go of his hands just for him to tighten his grip.
Sighing, I just relaxed and glanced up at him.
He's really handsome, even when he's sleeping. He's handsome, confident, liked by everyone. I'm kind of jealous... but I can't change anything, so I won't complain.
In the future, I'll protect you just like you protect me, Mikhail, I promise.

I woke up to see I was staring at Mikhail's chest.
Trying to push away, I quickly found that I couldn't and looked down to see I was trapped between his arms.
"A-ah this is embarrassing," I whispered to myself as I put my hands over my face and tried to supress the ever-growing blush that was climbing up.
It was maybe four or five minutes of me being embarrassed but shamefully enjoying being in Mikhail's arms (because he was really warm and comfortable) later that he woke up with a small groan.
"Hm... What time is it?" he grumbled, his voice was lower than usual and smoother. I bit the inside of my mouth and looked up to see him looking down at me in confusion. A moment passed and then something registered and he threw himself back and fell out of the bed.
"Ouch—holy crap—why was I so close to the edge of the bed?" he grumbled before looking to me, "I am so sorry—I must've unconsciously done that in my sleep!"
"I-it's OK," I quickly said as he pressed his head to the floor in apology, "p-please don't do t-that. It's e-embarrassing."
I looked behind me to see that I was perfectly in the middle of the bed meaning... Mikhail was probably so close to the edge. Now I feel bad.
