minho tiredly made his way to school. he barely got a blink of sleep last night, currently being dependent on the coffee he drank this morning to keep him awake during class.

"hey minho!" jisung cheerfully smiled as he greeted him. minho let out a sigh of relief and pulled jisung in for a hug, catching the other off guard.

"im so tired sungie~" he mumbled. jisung laughed and rubbed the redhead's back.

"don't worry, we can rest at the rooftop during break!" the younger said as they walked inside the building. plenty of students gave them weird looks and whispered between themselves upon seeing the rare pair.

minho rolled his eyes and ignored them. jisung on the other hand, obviously not being used to the attention, became anxious as bad thoughts ran laps in his mind.

the older between the pair gave the younger a smile and squeezed his hand in a comforting matter.
"ignore them sungie, they're just jealous." he whispered.

it didn't take long for the two to part ways, as they both had different classes for first period.

"loverboy~" felix called out as soon as the squirrel like boy entered the classroom. jisung smiled and headed towards the younger, playfully rolling his eyes.

"hey lixie." he sat beside his friend.

"you need to fill me in on you and minho's relationship before i kidnap him and torture the truth out of him!" felix whined desperately. jisung laughed and nodded,

"okay okay! i'll tell you after class weirdo." felix smirked and nodded.

Minho slowly sat beside hyunjin as the teacher taught the lesson. he took a small trip to the bathroom, which resulted in him entering class a little late.

he glanced at hyunjin, noticing how the younger dozed off every now and then.

"... hyunjin?" he hesitantly called out in a whisper. hyunjin snapped his head towards minho and gave him a confused look,

"w-what?" he mumbled.

"are you okay? you don't look well..." minho said in all honesty. he felt guilty and ashamed to talk to the latter after everything he did.

"why do you care?" hyunjin glared and pulled his hood up.

"c-can we...talk after class please?" minho asked. hyunjin scoffed but nonetheless nodded.

it was no secret that he missed talking to the older boy. even though their friendship was pretty toxic and empty on one side, minho was his first friend, his role model.

he did everything with him.

minho sighed and let his head rest on the desk.

soon enough, class ended. the classroom soon became empty, leaving the two boys alone at last.

"w-what do you wanna talk about?" hyunjin asked. the shorter took a deep breath,
"im s-sorry hyunjin." he breathed out and clenched his fists. hyunjin was taken aback to say the least. never would he have thought the lee minho would be apologizing to him looking so fragile.

i-i...i never should've treated you the way i did and im sorry for being a horrible friend. im sorry for saying those mean things to you when you...c-confessed..i definitely became more open minded. you don't have to accept my apology but i just wanted to get it off my chest. im so sorry." minho spoke ever so lightly. hyunjin slightly teared up and pulled the older in for a hug.

"i-i forgive you, min." hyunjin cried out. he didn't have the heart to drag his anger on.

"y-you don't like me anymore...right?" minho hesitantly asked. hyunjin quickly shook his head and laughed,

"no, don't worry. i like...someone else now" he spoke with honesty.

"great! because i think i have feelings for a certain someone too..."

"so you and minho are on friendly terms, he took you out on a date and got jealous when byungsoo asked for your number, you guys cuddled till you fell asleep...sounds pretty gay to me."  felix laughed. jisung playfully rolled his eyes and shyly smiled.

"all thats left is for you guys to kiss and ask eachother out!" the aussie exclaimed.

"i-i don't know if he likes me in that way though..."

"c'mon mate! you guys literally hold hands! he said he wants to eat you! what else are you waiting for?! him to do the wap dance?" felix groaned. jisung laughed at his friend's stupid joke.

"fine fine...but-"

"bloody hell stop saying 'but'!"

"okay okay! tell me about you and changbin." felix blushed at the mention of the other, rolling his eyes.

"n-nothing is going on between us..." he mumbled.

"stop playing hard to get lixie~ he clearly has feelings for you!" 

"s-shut up!" he growled, a faint blush resting on his cheeks.
"be nicer to him,,okay?" jisung gave felix a warning look. felix sighed and nodded. just then, someone opened the door.

"sungie?" minho's tired voice called out. both boys snapped their heads towards the classroom door.

"minho!" jisung jumped up and engulfed the taller into a warm hug.
"i talked things out with hyunjin, we're on good terms now!" he smiled.

"aw im so happy for you!" felix cleared his throat and gave them a judging look.

"too much love in this room, im going to go annoy chan." he laughed and quickly left the classroom.

"you look so tired~ lets go to the rooftop so you can rest, okay?" minho nodded and followed the younger to the rooftop.

jisung sat down, leaning against the brick wall. he let the redhead rest his head on his lap as he played with his soft hair, munching on some snacks. it didn't take long for minho to fall sleep.

it was pretty cold so jisung covered the boy with his coat to keep him warm.
"sleep well minnie." he placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.
