Growing up it's always been me and my two best friends Mia and Mel we literally do everything together it's been that way since I can remember I love them the world even if we are all complete opposites. We have me the feminist who loves to live in the here and now not giving a shit about phones and what not then we have Mia who is a complete socialite constantly updating her socials and wanting to make a name for herself and Mel the aspiring director with the crazy fashion sense. Even though we are all very different people our friendship is rock solid I don't know where I would be if I didn't have these two by my side. Growing up we all made a plan to spend a month in each of our favourite places for our birthdays Mel turned twenty-one first at the beginning of the year so we spent a whole month in Canada it was absolutely amazing. I turn twenty-one in a month and of course I chose LA it's been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember then Mia is the baby who's birthday isn't until the end of the year and her being obsessed with London that's where we will be off too next. We are all sat having a drink making plans for our trip but of course Mia is sat on her phone going on about some model guy she has a crush on who is live streaming on instagram letting random people join. I'm sat drinking my beer scrolling through restaurants in LA when Mia starts screaming like a mad woman making me spill my drink all over myself, fucking great.

"Hello ladies." I hear a British accent boom through Mia's phone with dreadful rap music in the background I can't help but roll my eyes when the pair of them start squealing.

"Oh my god I can't believe I'm on your live, wait is that Hero Fiennes Tiffin?" Mia shrieks, oh god.

"Heyyy." Another person says before the other one speaks again "Is that an accent I hear where you guys from?" he asks.

"We are from Perth." At least they've managed to calm themselves down now.

"Nice what you guys upto?"

"We are just planning our trip to LA for our girls twenty-first birthday next month, say hi Jo." They say pointing the camera at me in which I quickly cover my face groaning walking away.

"Josephine Langford stop being such a priss." Mia shouts laughing.

"Whenever your finished fan girling I'll be in the kitchen with a cold beer." I shout waving them off.

I don't care if I come across as rude I just don't get it when people go crazy being in a live video with a celebrity or influencer or whatever they are real people at the end of the day no better than anyone else. After about five minutes they both walk in the kitchen with the biggest smiles on their faces all high and giddy from their little live chat.

"I can't believe how unfazed you were walking off like that when Alex and fucking Hero Fiennes Tiffin had us on their live your crazy!" Mia says giggling.

"I just don't get the big deal they are normal people..." I shrug.

"No Jo they are celebrities Hero is a huge deal." Mel says grabbing a drink.

"He can't be that huge I have no idea who he is." I say with raised eyebrows.

"You're shitting me right? Young Voldemort form Harry Potter? He was the main lead in the biggest romance films last year..." yeah doesn't ring a bell.

"Enough of all that can we get back to planning LA now I want it all to be sorted we leave at the end of the month." I groan another thing about me I'm a perfectionist.

"Calm down Jo you know we don't need to panic as much this time around since we will be staying at my uncle's condo." Mel shrugs.

We have been lucky when we went to Canada we stayed with Mia's grandma so we didn't need to pay out hotels and when we go to LA we will be staying at Mel's uncle's condo whilst he's out of town so the only place we have had to really save for is London. After a couple of hours I decide to call it a night since I have classes all day tomorrow, training to be a doctor is absolutely draining but there is nothing else I'd rather do than follow in my parents footsteps. Once I've showered and got my books and assignments sorted for tomorrow I jump into bed and set an alarm but notice I have a notification on instagram.
