Chapter 66 (who I am?)

Today is our very awaited day. Today would be the end of Johnson's bad deeds. I am checking all the documents given by the other party of underground organization. Their terms for tonight's transaction. I put myself busy so that nobody can smell what am I planning for the transaction later.

In the middle of reading the reports of the other business of Johnsons, I got a message that Drecy, my beloved mother was freed from the custody of Oxford. It's part of our plan to freed Drecy, so that she will be also captured by the highest authority.

Minutes had pass, there's a tickling sounds of high heels echoed along the hallway. It sounds it's in hurry. I thought it will enter my office but it go straight towards the opposite side of the hallway, where my father's office located. I stood up, grab my cap and silently followed the steps towards the office of Father. I halted my steps few meters away from the door.

I stood there for a second then went nearer the said room. And to my surprised, Drecy is yelling from the inside.

"YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WON'T LET OUR DAUGHTER BE INVOLVE IN YOUR DIRTY DEEDS! YET YOU HELPED HER RULED YOUR FUCKING ORGANIZATION! HOW DARE YOU FOR MAKING HER YOUR HEIRESS! FREED HER THIS INSTANT! I CAN RAISED MY OWN CHILD WITHOUT YOUR BULLSHIT MONEY!" Drecy shouted angrily. It's really touching that someone cared about me.

Should I turned her too? I bet she's only doing such things to keep me away from this dirty occupation.

I lost  my thought and my focus is not at the commotion inside. I am wondering if I am doing the right thing. Should I consider my mother's affection?

"Are you here just to bark at me?" Arthur asked calmly.

"No, I'm not! I just want my daughter away from you!" Drecy were still in raged but Arthur didn't give her a further attention. Instead, he focused his gaze at the monitor in front on him. "DAMN IT, ARTHUR!" She slammed her palms on the desk.

"Stop your nonsense tantrum." Arthur stopped what he was doing for awhile and glared Drecy.

"I'm not a child that throwing tantrums! I am here as a mother. I just want my daughter!" Depended herself through greeted teeth. Arthur didn't mind her again and continued what he is doing.

And it irritates Drecy. She doesn't have any idea why Arthur acted so relax.

"Why can't you do it to our daughter? Though she's my daughter not to your beloved fake wife, can't you have any affection towards her? She's still yours. And even--" Drecy lost her patience anymore, she bring up the lady which Arthur love until now. Before finishing her babbling, a laptop crashed on the floor near her feet. And it startled her.

She took a few step bark ward through her shaking legs. She knows that Arthur is a beast, and she hit the line of his patience. But they're talking about their daughter. So Drecy stood still with chin up.

'No, I can't let him do this to my daughter. I must fight him for the sake of my daughter.' She taught.

"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT YOUR FUCKING USELESS MOUTH!" Arthur stood from his chair and throwing his deadly glares to Drecy.

'This wicked, how dare she did bring up that woman again. She must be very idiot'. Arthur glared Drecy with rage.

"How can I shut my mouth if you're not paying attention of what am I saying!" Drecy yelled.

"Cause you're babbling nonsense!"

"Nonsense? You called it nonsense? How can you called it nonsense! Is your daughter nonsense to --" she wasn't able to finished her words and was shock by what she heard in next seconds.

"SHE'S NOT OUR DAUGHTER!" Arthur spit out the truth.

On the other side, Hannah lost her balance as she heard the truth.

'I am not their daughter? Then who am I? Who are my real parents? Where are they? Who is their real daughter? Where is she?' There are lots of questions in her head and she knows that nobody can tell her about her real parents. 'So he used me? He is just using me? They are both monsters. I will really put them behind bars'. Thought Hannah. She immediately went back to her office and make an effective plan for tonight. The Johnson's must be eliminate from the society.

"She i-is not my daughter?" Drecy's legs became weak as she learned the truth. "Is that true? Then where is she?" She was hesitant at first but she need to know.

"She's safe and was raised by her known parents like their own. She doesn't even know us. And I don't want to ruin her life. Besides you're not a good mother for her." Arthur answered.

"What? I am not a good mother? Then what about you?" She gnashes her teeth.

"Likewise. But atleast I know how to make money, unlike you that you just know how to spent it. You can't even raise your own without me, I wonder how you became a Johannes.  That's why my daughter deserves better than us. You as nothing, I as shameless." He frankly said.

Drecy open her mouth, but say nothing. Yes, she is Johannes, but her parents' wealth are not as Hannie's wealth. Besides she is only an illegitimate child that was abandoned by her mother and sent to his father. Her father despised her, so she rebelled on him. Way back then Hannie, was an orphan and was raised from the orphanage. But after Hannie graduated College, she managed to built her own company and was being successful.  Drecy was very envious with Hannie so befriended with the girl. Hannie was seeking for family comfort and was felt pity for Drecy who was abandoned by her parents- she accepted Drecy. Despite of their closeness she managed to play with her cousin. She played as innocent infront of Hannie but at the back of Hannie she secretly helped Arthur to get what the guy wanted from its wife. When Arthur successfully get what he want he flew back to Asia. Hannie recovered from the trauma and asked Drecy to follow Arthur, which a big advantage to the later. Because that time, she was very inlove with the guy which her cousin's ex-husband. Drecy thought she will be happy in Arthur's hand especially when she got pregnant. But she was rejected by Arthur and forced her to marry of Arthur's assistant - Albert Hooper. But Arthur were still giving her financial needs. When she  labored her baby, she exchanged her daughter to Hannie's, so that her daughter can have a brighter future if Hannie will claimed it. But everything went upsidedown, and was even fooled by the man she loved. She thought that Hannah was her daughter but it turns out her daughter was keep by someone away from her. "Can I know where she is?" She asked despite of Arthur's insult.

"No! I said we won't ruin her happy life. So be with it." He replied to Drecy through his greeted teeth, pick up his lappy and walk straight at the door. He has something important transaction tonight so better leave his office to avoid from Drecy's interrogation. He doesn't even want to formally introduce himself to his daughter as her real father. He promised he will be happy if his daughter will be in safe hands. But if there's something happened to her, he's willing to take risk for her. That's how he love her daughter though it's not from Hannie Johannes - his beloved that he betrayed because of money. He and Drecy are the same. That's what he ashamed of, he doesn't want his daughter having them as parents.
