Hidan felt like his head was picked up out of the ground. The light blinded his eyes but he quickly got over it. His vision was still blurry but he could make out a large muscular body with randomly placed blacked lines. "Ka-Kakuzu?" He questioned but couldn't say anything else due to him passing out. Kakuzu said nothing just held him by his hair at his side, as he usually did. The Nara forest wasn't safe for obvious reasons. He walked carefully, trying to listen, the woods was disturbingly quite, it was driving him insane just walking back and forth with his body parts, he couldn't imagine being forced to stay here for almost a year, in pieces, in complete isolation. He felt uneasy due to the noises that his footsteps made, it was an ungodly hour of night and no one would nobody normally be out at this time, if he was heard then he would be caught. His grip tightened around Hidan's hair as if he'd lose him again. The forest was large and hard to get through, clearly not a spot he should be in but he'd be dammed if he left Hidan here to decay.

A soft sigh left his lips as he eyed random areas of his surroundings, there was nothing but darkness and trees but it didn't make him feel any safer. Hidan groaned unconsciously every few minutes, making him feel even nervous. Kakuzu looked down at the immortal's head in his hand, he wasn't overly moldered but the rotting pale flash was still there and the smell of decay lingered. His face twitched as if he was about to wake up but it never happened. He began to walked slightly quicker, just wanting to get out of there. The cold air became freezing, the older male pulled the head closer to his chest, to keep him warm. Hidan muttered things in his sleep making Kakuzu smile, he couldn't sleep lately since he missed his lovers sweet voice. "K-K-K-Kaku-zu." He looked at the head but he was asleep, still mumbling about his dreams. He held the head closer trying to him, though he was happy to hear Hidan's voice, it really wasn't the time.

A figure began fallowing him but Kakuzu already knew who it was, Shikamaru Nara, the boy who burred Hidan for killing his sensei and he wasn't going to let him off so easily, wanting him to keep him burred for the rest of entreaty. He still was hidden by darkness, so it was stupid to run and make noise, but at the same time it wasn't safe to stay at a slow pace either because a shadowy blanket covered the enemies territory, it was Nara's playground, it was clear who had an upper hand. There were only possibly 10 or more feet away, so close yet so far and there was no second chance if he messed up. If he walked too slow he'd be caught if he walked too fast he'd be caught, it was nerve wracking but he knew it was worth the risk, Hidan was worth the risk.

When he could hear Hidan mumble once again so he covered his mouth so he'd be quite. Kakuzu held his breath, seeing the end of the forest. He was close now, close to his freedom but he had to wait, just a few more minutes. "Alright this is far enough! Who the hell are you? And why do have Hidan?!" The teenager called out, Hidan's name sounded like a slur to him, a horrible word that shouldn't be said, it was understandable why he said it like that. "If you drop him on the ground, I'll let you go." He still could've stayed hidden in the night but he was prepared. He threw a rock just a few feet in front of Shikamaru, just out of sight as a distraction and ran out of the forest, Hidan still in his arms. It bought him just enough time as the moment he left the hidden leaf village the sun began to rise.

He hoped Hidan would stay asleep for a few more hours so the journey could be quicker but a smaller part of him wanted Hidan to open his large magenta eyes, he wanted to hear that lovable yet annoying voice but he'd have too wait. The path he had to stay on was a dirt road that didn't lend into too many villages. Hidan did woke up eventually due to the sun's harsh light. "I-is this heaven? Has lord-Jashin heard my cries and killed me?" Hidan seemed to be unable to see, his eyes were much lighter, there colour was barely pink, in fact they were almost white, well the parts of his eyes that were supposed to be white were red with blood, due to his vanes began to spoil. "Your god isn't real." Kakuzu said bluntly but he a smile curled on his face. "K-Kakuzu?" Hidan asked, trying to find the man, since he couldn't feel his hair being pulled on it seemed some of the nerve's died in the top of his head. "Can you see anything?" "It's fucking blurry and bright as hell." He groaned, his voice sounded dry and pained. "Kakuzu?" He asked after a few minutes of uncomfortable silence. "Where the fuck are you taking me?" "A motel not far from here." He answered, suddenly feeling a lot happier.

The day had already begun, people had already left there houses and people had left they're houses, meaning Kakuzu had to hide Hidan's. He placed Hidan's head was placed in a bush, to hide him for a short period of time. "Kakuzu what's going on?" He seemed somewhat panicked and scared. "I'm going to find something to cover you with." He stated before hesitantly walking but speed up, knowing his had to be quick. Hidan spent his time in the bush trying to get his vision to focus on something. He heard footstep coming from the other detraction, stopping in front of the bush. "Kakuzu? Wow that was fucking quick." He was answered with nothing but silence. "Kakuzu, you're freaking me the fuck out. Why are you so quite? Kakuzu?" He questioned as the black figure blocked his view, but didn't get a response. "Kakuzu?" He asked again but much more softly, just barely above a whisper. A hand grabbed his mouth, shutting him up. Hidan bit down on the hand, losing one of his decomposing teeth, the blood dripped on to his tongue but since he can't properly consume it nor did he have his religious symbol he couldn't use pain transfer jutsu. The hand pulled back, a swear was heard as well as more footsteps. The taste of blood made him feel better, since the only thing he could taste for months was dirt and random bugs that happened to find and eat at him, then he fell into coma.

He heard more footsteps but this time in other detraction. "Kakuzu?! What the hell?!" He almost screamed but his voice didn't go to high due to his deteriorating larynx. "Shut the fuck up. We're going to get caught." Hidan glared at him. "Anyway did you get something?" Hidan smiled. "You're tooth is missing and you've got blood all over you lips... what the hell did you do? You know what I don't care." He dismissed it as Hidan was rotting alive, so a tooth falling out didn't seem out of place. He placed a stolen bag on the ground, and dropped the head in it. "Ow! Asshole!" "You need to be quite, you idiot."
