~ December 22, 1986 ~

"So where is this release party at ? And what do you wanna wear" Zoe asks as we continue looking through the racks

"I guess their apartment, I asked Steven why they didn't have it at the house but he said something bout not letting people just trash my place and they're gunna be doing drugs so he made a valid point"

"You sure you're gunna be able to handle that ? N/n I know parties like this and they never end up good, someone's always starting fights or worse you catch something you're not supposed to" she tries to reason with me

"I assure you I can handle it okay, besides I can always drive myself home if I hate it. Now we don't wanna stand out but not blend in either"

Not hearing any response I turn to her and see she's smiling at me

"What"

"My little sister is finally catching onto dressing up, I couldn't be more happier" she pulls me into a hug

"Glad to see you're happy with my change, c'mon we need to find something before tomorrow"

After an hour of searching we finally found something worth our eye and went home, Zoe was telling me all the details bout leaving in 11 days so I'm happy that she's happy

"I'll be in my room I'm expecting a call soon" she runs up the stairs

"Okay, guess I'll sit here" mumbling to myself

Can't really do much, Steven and Isabella are gone since he wanted to take her with him to rehearsal. The car went with them since I said it was okay so no beach for me, there's nothing to clean guess I could go take a nap or maybe do some singing and see if I still sound the same. Going into the garage I grab Pearl album by Janis Joplin heading straight to my room to start playing

This was the first ever record my dad bought me when I finally got old enough to understand music. I fell in love with it the minute I heard her voice, when I turned 8 he always told me the story of how he got to meet her and how cool she was. There was some dark secrets she had too but who doesn't she was still a nice person and in the end everyone is human. He never bad mouthed her, and said she was a singer to reach great heights in her career however her time was cut short due to the heavy drug usage she had. Kinda why I fear so much for Steven, it's a scary world in the music industry and I just hope he doesn't overdo it, hearing one of my favorites come on next I begin swaying in place climbing into bed on my knees

"Nice singing n/n knew you had more talent than you let be known" Izzy says joining him out

"You guys are terrible, how was rehearsal and mommy's princesa" taking her from Steven kissing her little cheeks

"If I knew we were gunna come home and find you singing, rehearsal would've been over sooner" Axl says making me roll my eyes

"So you guys all ready for tomorrow, I found what to wear finally and Deborah will be here tomorrow to get Isabella before we leave"
