~ February 13, 1987 ~

Waiting with Bella in the crowded airport I try my best to spot out the guys but no luck there. I've been her for bout half an hour...and some but I promised I would be here to pick up Zoe and lord knows she'd never let me hear the end of it if I didn't show up

"Maybe we're earlier than expected Bella" I mumble to her as if she can speak back yet, but I can tell she's somewhat reciprocating in her baby babble

Searching some more I still don't see them anywhere and decide to sit down for a little. Noticing her hair is getting more curl to it I scrunch my face just knowing all the trouble I'm gunna have when it starts growing more. After another 10 minutes go by I stand up ready to look again before seeing them come out the terminal of course jet lagged but there's some livelihood in them, rushing to them careful to bump anyone or make Bella's head get thrown into crazy directions I make to them hugging Zoe first

"You're squeezing the life out of my throat hold on" she hoarsely yelps out as I let go

"I missed you surprisingly seeing as the house was so much quieter without you"

"Words hurt n/n but glad to see you haven't changed in the course of me being gone"

If only you knew, some things changed for the better or in anyone else's eyes for worse

"Anyways c'mon guys give n/n squeeze" as they one by one hug me laughing at my childlike request

"I can't believe I missed this face" James says pinching at my cheeks, trying to smack his hand away I end up just biting his finger until he moves them "Did you just fucking bite me"

"I don't know did I ? Don't recall, all that alcohol must've gotten to your head Jamesy" shrugging

"Yeah right, c'mon I'm sick of standing around in an airport I don't wanna see a plane for awhile" he requests picking up his bags walking ahead of everyone not even waiting

"I will admit, I did miss James's bossy demeanor so it's refreshing to see" following him along with everyone else

Once I seen everyone settled in and diffusing the issue with Lars and James bickering for who gets to sit upfront, I just made them both sit in the back allowing Jason to ride shotgun. Zoe instantly fell asleep when she got in, now I see what she meant when she said she was constantly tired in the mornings

"So what did you do while we stole your sister" Jason asks me

"Well of course you know I left for Seattle, came back did some motherly duties, and I even got my boss to let me come back to work early"

"You already want to go back to work, don't think it's too early for Isabella"

"Well everyone was telling me she did fine while I was gone so I guess she's not as close to me like I am to her" now I think about it she gets more alert when she notices Steven isn't in the house too long, like her senses go off knowing he isn't around much

"She's a daddy's girl, guess her upmost bond is with Steven" he states

"Great just what I need, a daddy's girl to make it more difficult" not realizing I spoke out loud

"Make what difficult ?"

"Nothing, just realizing the bond I thought we had was closer than what they had but guess I was wrong"
