20: sunflower

Taehyung and Yoongi returned home and were taking about Hoseok and his books. It was fun, both forgetting about that strange man they saw earlier.

"there you are" a voice said and the door opened. The two halted in their steps looking at the door. It was Jungkook, his dark eyes staring at Taehyung.

"o-oh hi" the boy said, yoongi just passed the demon heading inside.

"come with me" jungkook turned around knowing the boy would follow him anyway. Which he did. Walking after that strange man into his work room.
"where were you?" the raven said turning around as soon the door closed.

"Hoseok's library..With yoongi" taehyung said.

"you shouldnt go outside"

"but i wanted books...And he was with me its fin-"

"no its not fine, you will not leave the house without me" jungkook frowned. "what if someone tries to hurt you again? They cant give you the safety i can!"

Taehyung and jungkook both fell silent for a moment. The demon shook his head and walked to the window.

"i-im fine" taehyung was unsure if he should speak now.

"you better be" jungkook mumbled.

"what?"

"its nothing, go read your stupid books" jungkook said waving his hand to shoo taehyung away without looking at him.

"they are not stupid! I-its about plants and animals" taehyung frowned and looked at the covers which one of them had flowers and the other a elephant.

Jungkook didnt respond but just stood there watching the sunlight fade to night. What could he say when he didnt trust his own words. He just waited for taehyung to leave.

"we came across this man" yoongi said just when taehyung entered the living room.

"what man?" jimin asked.

"well i didnt see him clearly, taehyung what did he look like?"

"a-ah uhm he..Had a scar on his face, his eyes were purple. And uhm he had the same scale like skin parts almost like jungkook" taehyung said. He remembered that man, it was a strange moment. He wasnt feeling so good about that encounter, it left him feel unsafe. Someone knew who and what he was, he didnt like that.

"hmm i dont know anyone like that" jimin said thinking. "anyway, i got something for you tae!" jimin walked to taehyung and handed him a object in the shape of a firefly.

"whats this?" taehyung asked curious.

"a light. Look it goes on like this" jimin shook the thing and it lit up. Taehyung looked in amazement

"wow!"he smiled and tried it himself. "i can use it to read"

"whatever you want, lets eat and go to bed" jimin suggested and the two agreed. Jimin and taehyung going to the kitchen together.

"whats a sunflower?...." taehyung asked confused moving the small light closer to the page to find a image. He was enjoying this book a lot he learned so many things about all the plants that were on earth.

"you" taehyung flinched hearing jungkooks voice in his ear.

"w-what are you doing here?" he asked.

"what are you reading?"

"you wouldnt like it" taehyung said softy and closed it.

"dont be rude with me" jungkook squinted his eyes at the other crossing his arms.

"im not, but you said its stupid" taehyung frowned. And laid down pulling the blankets up.

"hm whetever, sho-" jungkook looked at the bed "are you going to sleep while im talking??"

Taehyung didnt respond.

"fucking hell, why you are so annoying"

Taehyung was not sleepy. He was just trying to get jungkook to leave him alone. He wasnt happy, jungkook made him not happy. He reminded him that he didn't like it here. That he misses home and mr.Shin. That he isnt very welcome here. That he was stuck

His eyes teared up. He didnt ubderstand it all. Jungkook just came up and claimed him like a object. Removing mr.Shins signature with his own. Every piece of home got taken from him.

Jungkook had waited a while and finny wanted to leave when he heard a sniffle. His frown dissapeared looking at the white hairs above the blanket.

"are you crying?...." he asked

Taehyung didnt reapond but the sound of his irregular breathing and that sniffle jungkook could assume he was.
The demon looked around before he walked to the bed and sat down on the mattress.

"dont cry" he said. Gently placing his hand on taehyungs head. "why are you crying?" he didnt understand why the boy was suddenly crying. Jungkook wasnt good with enotions.

"i-i want to go home...to mr.Shin" taehyung said.
Jungkook stayed silent looking at him. Just his hand gently patting taehyungs hair.

"i know" is all he said. Waiting for taehyung to stop being sad and fall asleep before he left the house. Going out into the dark cold night.
