"Wow.. You really did think of everything" I said to Hermione as I walked in on her cutting Harry's hair with a pair of small scissors later that night.
"Oh my god" Hermione whispered when she saw me
"What?" Harry and I said at the same time following her to the table
"The sword of Gryffindor.. it's goblin made" Hermione said
"Cool.." I said sarcastically not really sure where Hermione was going with her train of thought
"Dirt and rust have no effect on the blade..Harry.. you've already destroyed one horcrux.. in the chamber of secrets" Hermione said
"Yeah with a basilisk fang.. if you know where i could get one of those that would be great" Harry said with confusion in his voice
"No don't you guys see.. Harry, you stabbed the basilisk with the sword of Gryffindor.. so it's impregnated with basilisk venom" Hermione said excitedly
"And it only takes in which makes it stronger" I cut in "Which is why-"
"It can destroy horcruxs.. Hermione you are brilliant" Harry said, and that was when the lights suddenly went out. The three of us looked around questionably as Ron appeared in the room holding the dilluminator in his hand
"The sword was stolen" the lights came back on abruptly "Yeah.. I'm still here" Ron said "But you three carry on.. don't let me spoil it for you guys"
"What's wrong Ron?" I asked
"Oh Nothing" Ron responded
"if you've got something to say don't be shy" Harry said shifting in his seat
"Ok" Ron said "But don't expect me to be grateful because now there is just another damn thing we have to find"
"I thought you knew what you signed up for" Harry said
"Yeah I thought I did too" Ron scoffed
"What?" Harry questioned "You thought we'd be staying in hotels, finding horcruxs everyday, that you would be back with your mum before Christmas?"
"No.. but I though after all this time we actually would have accomplished something but it's clear you have no plan and absolutely no clue In Merlin what you're doing or where we're going" Ron hissed
"Ron.. take that off" I said reaching towards locket around his neck. But Ron roughly shoved my hand away
"Ron please.. you wouldn't be saying any of this if you hadn't been wearing it all day" Hermione pleaded
"Do you want to know why I listen to that radio everyday Harry?" Ron started to say "To make sure that I don't hear Ginny's name, Or Fred, or George, or mum"
"You don't think i know how it feels, I've been listening too!" Harry yelled
"No you don't know how it feels!" Ron lashed out "Your parents are dead.. you have no family!" That was when Harry shoved himself into Ron as the both of them started to fight
"Guys.. stop please!" Hermione begged trying to pry the two of them apart
"Then go then..Leave!" Harry yelled stepping away from Ron.
"Fine then" Ron said as he pulled the horcrux off his neck throwing it to the ground before grabbing his bag
"Ron" Hermione whispered
"And you two" Ron said turning to Hermione and I "Are you guys coming or staying?" We both paused looking from him to Harry before there was silence.
"Fine..I get it, don't think i didn't see you and Harry the other night, Hermione"
"What?" Hermione asked puzzled "Ron.. that- that was nothing" He gave her one last look before he disappeared behind the entrance of the tent. "Ron come back!" Hermione yelled
"I'll go get him .. I'll be right back" I said following him out
"Ron" I called walking directly behind him "Ron where are you going?"
"I don't know but I'm getting the hell out of here" Ron scowled
"Ron just stay" I pleaded grabbing his shoulder.
