I heard the dozens of locks unlatching as the Goblin slid the key into place. The door opened slowly as we all stepped in. Damn Bellatrix was rich. There were hundreds if not thousands of Golden pieces thrown around the room.
"Is it here Harry?" Ron questioned as harry walked ahead of us slowly. I was glancing at a large gold plate. I went to pick it up and as I did. My elbow collided with a nearby gold piece. It fell to the ground and multiplied again and again. I backed up slowly as more objects were drawn into the mix.
"Shit" I muttered
"You stupid girl.. everything you touch multiplies" Griphook said in frustration
"Thanks for telling me that after I touched something Grip hook" I yelled back
"It's here" Harry smiled "Up there" He pointed up at the highest point in the vault where a small cup was sitting, But the objects were now up to our knees multiplying by the second we instantly lept forward for the cup causing them to multiply even faster
"Stop moving!" Hermione yelled and we stopped. Except for Harry who was getting closer and closer to the horcrux. But just as he grabbed it the objects engulfed him. We paused for a moment in silence
"Should we do something?" I asked but i was cut off just as Harry exploded from the gold peices. Throwing the cup a me. I caught it just as Grip hook snatched it from my hand. The objects were again multiplying fast as Harry scrambled to meet us.
"The cup for the sword" Griphook said to Harry. Harry furrowed his eyebrows before throwing the sword to Griphook who threw the cup back to Harry
"Ok now give us a hand Griphook' Harry said to the goblin who was standing safely above us on a ledge
"I said I'd get you in" Griphook said "I never said anything about getting you out"
"Griphook!" I yelled in frustration as he dissapeared behind the door. The Objects of Bellatrix's vault were now moving up to our necks. We basically swam to the entrance, and that was when I saw a tiny hole in the door that hadn't been there before. I squinted my eyes as objects were multiplying all around me. I shoved my hand into my pocket. Pulling it out quickly. We were all able to get onto the ledge but the objects were multiplying fast.
I took my key a stuck it into the hole. Here goes nothing.. and It opened.. the key Dumbledore had given me actually came in handy for something. The door swung open as we all rushed out slamming the door behind us. We could already hear the echos of spells flying past us as we ran. Who knew where we were going or where we would end up.
"Thieves!.. Thieves!" Griphook yelled as we watched him from above the Clearing with the dragon. The Goblin that almost didn't let us through to Gringotts was also standing there. But grip hook left him.. He was laughing at us sticking his middle finger straight up into the air.. he didn't even notice that the dragon was inching towards him drowning him in flames.. instantly turning into ashes.
"Oh what a shame" I said sarcastically as Ron maganged to let out a smile in my direction
"Watch out" Harry yelled as a curse flew directly above my head only missing me by a a centimeter. I quickly threw myself against a wall that was hidden from the sight of the many security gaurds that were surrounding us.
"Hermione what are we gonna do?" I yelled.. she was standing a few feet from me behind her own pillar
"I don't know" She yelled in panic
"Well your the one with all the ideas" Harry yelled. I squinted my eyes as i slowly peeked my head around the wall i was standing behind.. scanning the huge room for any ideas to get away..that was when I saw it.. as if in slow motion the large dragon stopped spitting fire for only a few seconds looking at me intently. My breathing quickened as an idea appeared in my mind.. as if reading my mind the dragon nodded its head before winking and spitting more fire at a near by guard.
"Guys I have something.." I yelled "I got an idea"
"Are you sure?" Hermione questioned. I rolled my eyes before pointing my wand at the fence of stone that was blocking the way.
"Bombarda!" I yelled crushing the fence into a million pieces. I timed the Gaurds spells just right allowing me to jump from the ledge onto the dragon who almost looked like it was waiting for me. I landed roughly grabbing the horns on the Dragons back stabling myself.. and soon enough Hermione.. And Harry were on the dragon too. the second we were all on the dragon took off.. crashing through the hundreds of floors of Gringotts. Standing still once we landed on the roof
"Merlin.. we're on a dragon" Ron yelled in fear. I rolled my eyes before leaning close to the dragon.
"It's ok.." "i whispered to the dragon "you're free now" And just as I said that the dragon took off high into the air.
"This is amazing!" I yelled in excitement.. and for a second.. just like the Dragon I felt free..flying high above the cruel world.. but i knew it wouldn't last forever..
We flew for awhile until we were sure we were out of London.
"We should get off here" Hermione yelled as we flew above a large lake
"You mean jump?!" Ron yelled "Off this thing??"
"Yes.. Now" Hermione yelled as she jumped plumiting down to the lake below follwed by Ron and Harry.
I stroked the dragons scaly skin gently.
"Be free" I whispered before I jumped after them
