Draco's POV
I apparated in front of the Slytherin common room. I noticed right away that all the Slytherins were locked inside. They hadn't noticed me but i needed to get someone I trusted... they needed to help me with what i needed to do.
"Reductio" I whispered causing the duengeon door to exploded open. I apparated again to stand in the middle of the crowd. I spotted Blaise and Mack running together and grabbed them both by the sleeves of their shirts dragging them around a corner. "I need your help" I whispered in their ears.
"With what Draco?" Mack asked
"I've been givin another task.." I whispered "I need to complete by tonight or my family and I are dead"
"Aright then.. where do we need to go?" Blaise asked
"I'm not sure yet" I said " Follow me" We walked for awhile through the crowd.. I scanned every corridor we went through, trying to find any sight of her.. of Haley. It was only a matter of tie before I spotted her a Potter running through the corridors.. hand and hand.
"Over there" I whispered "we have to follow them." Every inch of my body wanted to grab her.. to hug her.. to kiss her. But I couldn't.. I could never do that again.. even if we both survived.. the guilt about what I was even considering had already taken over my body... she was the love of my life and we had been through so much together... I needed her.. more than anything. I don't think i could live without her in this world.. without her in my world.
We followed them up many stair cases once I finally realized where they were going.. they were going to th Room of Requirement... but why? We hid behind some rubble as we watched the two enter. Something important must be in there... something they needed. "Come on" I whispered
When we entered the room it was extremely quiet. As if nobody was there. But the three of us knew that the two of them where in there somewhere. "Haley! I found it" We heard Potter yell.
"Good job Harry" It was her.. Her beautiful voice.. a voice that could stab me in the heart with just a few words and a voice that could make me crumple at the knees with her words of love. The voice I had wanted to hear for so long.. the voice I longed for every night drowning in my loneliness... Her.
"Malfoy.. over here" Blaise whispered. We walked around a bookcase until we were right behind them.. they were facing away from us examining whatever they just found. Blaise, Mack, and I held our wands at their backs.
"Well, well, well" Mack said causing the two of them to wip around fear in their eyes.
"What brings you here Potter?" I asked.. My voice quivering as Haley's eyes met mine.
"I could ask you the same thing Malfoy" Potter questioned me
"You have something of mine Potter" I said.. My wand shaking as I pointed it at him
"What about the wand you have" He said looking down at the wand i was holding
"It's my mothers.. powerful but not the same... I want mine back."
"Why didn't you tell her?" Harry questioned as Haley looked up at him
"What?" I questioned furrowing my eyebrows
"Bellatrix.. you knew it was me and the Malfoy Manor..but why didn't you say anything?" Harry said
"I think you know Potter" I whispered glancing at Haley
"Stop stalling Draco.." Mack whispered in my ear "Do it" I pointed my wand at Haleys heart as my eyes overcame with tears
"Mack?" Haley said it's a hint of hurt in her voice... I had forgotten Mack was one of Haley's best friends 5th year.
"It's Forest to you Silvering" Mack scoffed "Expeliarmas" She said sending Haleys wand flying out of her hand behind her into a pile of random objects.
"Draco what are you doing?" Haley questioned her voice started shaking with tears.. Her and I both knew now... I wasn't here to reunite and join her side
I was here to kill her
