Draco's POV
I stood still as ice as I stared at Haley.. blood rushing through my head.. I was sure I would faint any second.. I needed to do something.. but what? How could I do something drastic without both of us being killed. I looked around for my mother as Bella continued to insist that they should just kill Haley but Halfheart and my father continued to shut that down.. they were waiting for Voldemort to arrive.. probably so he could finish her off.
I needed to act quickly before he got here. I finally laid my eyes on my mother who was also starring at Haley.. her body slightly twitching in fear aswell. She didn't want to watch her be killed either..
I took slow steps towards her trying to stay as out of sight as possible from Bella, "Crucio" She spat. My head whipped around to Haley as my eyes started to fill with tears. She was screaming and thrashing around. They pain she must have been in.. It broke my heart. I was walking quickly towards Bella who was still aiming her wand at Haley
I needed to stop this.
"That should enough Bellatrix" I stopped in my tracks.. frozen. My eyes widened as i spun around.. It was Voldemort. Bella nodded her head before she stepped away from Haley and towards Voldemort. I looked at Haley who was now barely awake. Her body was visibly shaking. I didn't know what to do. "This is quite a turn of events.. don't you think so Ivior?" Voldemort asked
"Sure is my Lord" Ivior said
"You say the boy and the others left without her?" Voldemort questioned taking another stride towards her.
"Yes my lord" Bella said "Should we send more snatchers after them?"
"I don't think that will be nessasary..we have everything we need right here" Voldemort said putting his cold fingers below Haley's chin forcing her to look up at him. "What a foolish girl..Going off with Harry Potter.. I think we ought to teach you a lesson... Draco?" I flinched again as Voldemort said my name.
"Yes my Lord?" I said stepping closer to him.
"Bring our friend downstairs until i figure out what to do with her" Voldemort demanded.
"Yes" I said quickly before I slowly walked to the back of Haley chair uniting her wrists.. I prayed that she wouldn't do anything stupid but i don't think she could anyways.. she looked terrible, like she couldn't move even if she wanted to. She slumped forward once her wrists were free crying out in pain.. I think one of her arms was broken. I took her softly into my arms as I started to carry her towards the cellar.
"Oh please she can walk" Bellatrix spat out. I rolled my eyes before glancing back at her.
"Are you sure?" I questioned
"Oh course I'm sure.. she's just being a little bitch I barely cursed her" Bella spat, I looked back to my father who nodded in agreement before they all started talking. I slowly put Haley on her feet, her knees instantly collapsed under her causing her to almost fall to the ground.
"Just a few more steps" I whispered "Please.. you can do this" I could see her head move a bit in a nod before she took the three staggering steps that led down to the stairs. I looked back timidly as I say the group of death eaters in a deep whispering conversation.
As quick as I could without any of them seeing I lifted her up in my arms walking quickly down the stairs. Once we reached the bottom I collapsed on the ground her still laying in my arms, her eyes opened slightly staring at the ceiling. "I'm so sorry baby" I whispered into her hair letting out a small sob "I'm so so sorry, I-"
"I- It's-ok" Haley managed to whisper. I leaned down placing a kiss on her lips "I miss you so much"
"I miss you too.." I whispered as Haley threw up on the floor next to us, I stroked her hair "Someday.. someday this will all over over and- and we'll be happy, you and I.. on a farm somewhere.. or on the beach, or hidden away in the mountains, where ever we are we'll be happy" I said as Haley smiled slightly
"I would like that" She said quietly " In the mountains- I would love that..."
" Then That's what we'll do.. you and I baby" I whispered
"I need- to - get- out of here" Haley said looking up at me "I need to go.. I can't be here" She cried
"I'll get you out.. I'll find a way.. I promise" I said stroking her hand. "I'll be back" I laid her down softly before quickly exiting the cellar.. I need to get her out, I need to find a wand or something..
As much as I hated to admit it
I needed to get her to Potter.
