Chapter 64~See you soon

The door of the room of requirement was in sight... we were speeding towards it.. Ron and Harry leading the way while Hermione and I had Draco and Blaise on our booms.

"What are you gonna do now?" I heard Blaise yell I looked through the corner of my eye to see Blaise holding onto Hermione's hair roughly swinging her back and forth..

"She's gonna fall!" I yelled in panic.. but Ron and Harry were too far ahead to hear. I sped closer to Hermione's broom just as she was thrown off by Blaise. "No!" I screamed.. I thought Hermione was going to fall to her demise... but that was when Draco lept forward grabbing her hand in his hoisting her up onto our broom...

He saved Hermione's life

The broom stick had a lot more weight with three people on.. I could feel us start going slower and slower as the flames grew nearer... for a second i didn't think we were going to make it... until Draco pulled my hair back out of my face and whispered "Just a bit further" I nodded before going as fast as I could through the door just as the explosion of flames crashed above us.

There was smoke everywhere but everyone seemed as though they were ok.. Blaise was nowhere to be found.. Which was a good thing because if he ever showed his face to me again after trying to kill Hermione after she saved him.. i would kill him myself. Draco was next to me sitting up slowly. I quickly lifted up his head to face mine as we kissed for the first time in months.. my tears mixing with the dirt and ash on my face... this wasn't a happy kiss though.. I kissed him as if i would never be able to kiss him again.. because maybe I wouldn't. He started to cry to as we held onto each other for dear life.

"I'm so sorry Haley" Draco sobbed into my chest "I would never hurt you- i couldn't ever hurt you"

"Sssh It's ok" I whispered

Draco and I looked up as we heard Harry rustling around for something in his pocket. He took the diadem and laid it in front of him on the stone ground... he then pulled out a basilisk fang that Ron had given him... we watched as he lifted the fang and-

"Wait" - It was Draco, we looked at him as he stood up "Let me do it"

"Like hell" Ron said rolling his eyes "Common Harry do it"

"No..let him" Hermione said "He-he saved my life just now... he should be able to prove what side he's on" Ron looked shocked at the fact Hermione had just defended Draco. Harry looked from Ron to Hermione before reluctantly handing the fang to Draco. He examined it for a moment before leaning close to the diadem with a sigh. He looked at me for a split second before shoving the fang into the Diadem.. distroying it.. helping us.. The side he had been raised to hate. I slightly smiled at him before Harry grabbed his scar in pain. Hermione ducked down to Harry's level trying to help him through the vision.

"It-It's" Harry struggled to speak

"It's what Harry?" I questioned

"It's the Snake.. That's the last Horcrux" Harry finally said

"Harry.." Ron started to say "You need to get into his mind.. you need to find out where he is because wherever he is.. that's where the snake will be" Harry nodded before closing his eyes... he sat like that for at least two minutes while the rest of us starred at him

"I know" Harry whispered "I know where he is"

Draco and I clung to eachother as we followed Harry down the many flights of stairs towards where Harry knew Voldemort to be. Hogwarts was a hundred times worse than it was when we entered the Room of Requirement.. It was barely even Hogwarts anymore... just rubble.. there were close to nobody inside.. they were all in the courtyard fighting Voldemort's army. As we entered the courtyard. Draco and I parted ways for a moment so we could fight.. well so I could.. Draco just stood there not sure what to do.

I cursed Greyback the snatcher who had dragged me into Malfoy manor a few months prior.. he was mauling someone.. but I nearly sheirked when I saw who it was. Lavender Brown... I leaned down close to her.. trying to see if she was still alive.. but she wasn't she was dead.

"Avada Kedavera" I heard someone behind me scream. I flinched as I saw the glow of Green reflecting of of the brick wall in front of me.

"Stupyfy" I heard someone yell. I was still hanging over Lavender's limp body. She was too young

"You alright there" The voice said tapping me on the shoulder. I looked up through my tears to see Fred.

"Fred" I whispered as he helped me stand up. We hugged for a moment before I looked up at him again "Thank you for saving me"

"Anytime" He said letting out a small grin I could tell Frewd as trying to hide away his pain anger.. and fear behind his familiar sly grin .. I could see the bruises and cuts on his face... He didn't look good.

"Haley come on!" I heard Ron yell as he stood near the entrance of the courtyard waiting for me.

"Stay safe" I said giving Fred another hug

"You too Haley..." Fred said quietly "See you soon" I looked up at him again

"See you soon Fred"
