We stood in front of Professor Mcgonagall as Harry told her about what we needed to find.. And that was when my ears started to pound and ring inside of my head.. And i think for once everyone was feeling the same thing as me. I stumbled back s Voldemort's voice started echoing in my ears.
"Your time is up Haley Halfheart.. You have failed to give me what I need.. now you and all your friends will die a most painful death...unless, now it is up to anyone.. to bring Harry Potter to me. ANd you will be forgivin and this will all be over. Give me Harry Potter and none shall be harmed, give me Harry Potter and i shall leave Hogwarts untouched.. give me Harry Potter and you shall be rewarded.. you have one hour"
Everyone looked at me as the room went completely silent.. they emoji knew i was tasked with bringing Harry to Voldemort.. "What are you waiting for.. grab him" Pansy Parkinson yelled.. Everyone on my side of the room gave her dirty looks.. but what i saw when I looked at her was a frightened girl.. she wasn't on Voldemort's side.. she was just terrified of him.
"No" Ginny said as she stepped in front of Harry.. followed by everyone else who crowded in front of him.. including me.
"Students out of bed... students in the corridors" Someone yelled runnning into the great hall. It was filch
"They are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot" Professor Mcgonagall scoffed. I could help but lets out a giggle at her words.. even though it clearly ewasn't meant to be funny. "If you would.. I would like you to please lead Ms Parkinson and the rest of the Slytherin house from the hall" I furrowed my eyebrows
"Where exactly will i be leading them to?" Filch questioned
"The dungeons will do" Professor Mcgonagall said smirking with satisfaction.I looked down as the Slytherins started to be led out of the hall. It was clear I never belonged with the Slytherins.. where i belonged was here.. on this side.. fighting for what was right.. fighting for Hogwarts.
I knew the Slytherins better than any of the Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs standing in the great hall. I spent six years of my life with those people.. some of which the worst people I ever met.. some of which the best.. and I knew some of them knew what was right.. they shouldn't have been led out.. they should have been allowed to stay.
"Go" Professor Mcgonagall said looking towards Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I. We all nodded in unison before exiting the great hall. There was chos in the corridors following Voldemort's message. People running everywhere.. first, second, and third years being brought to the Gryffindor common room for safety.. who knew how safe they would be whenever Voldemort got here. We followed Harry up the stairs.. we were walking quickly.
"Harry" Hermione said loudly causing Harry to turn around and face her.
"You destroyed the diary with a basilisk fang right?" Rom asked as Harry nodded "Well we think we know where we can get one."
"Ok.." Harry said quietly digging in his pocket giving Hermione the marauders map.. "Take this.. to find me when you're done" Hermione took it nodding to him before giving him a quick hug
"Good luck Harry" She whispered before her and Ron were speeding down the stairs through the large crowd
"What about me?" I questioned "What should I do"
"Come with me" Harry said before again speeding up the stairs towards Ravenclaw tower.. That was when I had a thought.. why was Harry going to Ravenclaw tower?
"Harry!" I called out but he ignored me.. It was as if he was in some sort of trance "Harry!" I called again but he didn't answer
"Not now Haley...We have to get to the Ravenclaws tower" Harry said in frustration
"Harry Potter look at me right now!" I yelled again snapping Harry back into reality
"What! What is it" Harry yelled back his eyes glistening with fear
"I- Cho- Cho Chang said that nobody alive has seen the diadem" I said "We have to talk to somebody who's dead"
"You're right.. sorry" Harry said stepping down towards me "But who can we talk to?" That was when we spotted Luna Lovegood starring up at u from the bottom of the stairs
"I know where to go" Luna whispered "Follow me"
