Chapter 34~The Walsh Family

I felt it before I realized what was happening.. we were apparating.

I opened my eyes standing in the center of a snowy road with Ron, still holding on to his shoulder

I had grabbed it just as He apparated.

"Well now you've done it" I hissed tearing my hand away from his arm "How are we ever going to get back to them now.."

"I don't know" Ron said looking around as though he had just realized what he had done.

"Where even are we?" I asked

"Somewhere near Diagon Alley I think, I don't know" Ron responded

"Well we need to get off the streets..I know where we should go" I said quietly to Ron

"Where?" He asked

My body shook as we neared the wooden door it was freezing.. I prayed that she would be there I knocked three times before it opened a crack. "Hi" I smiled lightly when I saw the pair of green eyes behind the door.

"Merlin.. Haley Silvering is that you?" The door now opened extremely as the woman threw her arms around my shoulders "We have been so worried about you..quick, quick you better come in" she said as she shut the door behind Ron and I

"Hi Aunt Pearl" I said as she planted another kiss on my cheek

"Goodness me, you're all grown up, you must be in your seventh year of school by now" Aunt Pearl said looking me up and down as she placed her fists on her hips "And who is this.. your boyfriend?" She questioned. Ron and I looked at each other awkwardly.

"Oh no no, this is Ron-Ron Weasley" I said as Ron shook her hand

"Nice to meet yo-" Ron started to say

"Weasley... I knew your mother when I was at Hogwarts she was my older sisters best friend! I could recognize a Weasley anywhere!" She said excitedly throwing her arms around Ron.

"Mark..Mark! Come down here.. you'll never believe who it is.. Mark.. Mark.. I'll be right back" She said before running up the small stairs.

"I didn't know you had an aunt.. she's a hyper one" Ron said turning towards me

"Yeah.." I started to say as we heard footsteps coming down the stairs. My aunt Pearl, uncle Mark.. and Josh and Todd my younger cousins.

"Haley!" Todd said running towards me throwing his arms around my waist

"Hi..Todd?" I questioned

"Yeah Josh is over there" Todd squeaked pointing to his identical twin brother who was hiding behind Pearl.

"It is way past our bedtime Todd" Josh said As Todd rolled his eyes.

"Haley, you two must be exhausted, we don't have any extra rooms, but I can set up the couch in the living room.." Aunt Pearl said smiling before she headed up stairs "Common boys it's time for bed"

"Bye Haley, see you tomorrow" Todd said giving me another hug

"Goodnight Hal" Josh said before running up the stairs.

Pearl set Ron and I out a little spot in the living room, some blankets and pillows on the floor and then some on the couch.. and then the family went upstairs for the night.

"I'm sure they'll have a lot of questions tomorrow" I whispered to Ron.

"What side of the family are they anyways?" Ron asked

"My Mothers side.. Pearl is my moms younger sister.. I haven't seen them since my mothers funeral" I said

"Oh I see" Ron said quietly letting out a yawn "It's nice to be in a actual house for a change"

That was the last thing that he said before he drifted off into a deep sleep. But I stayed awak.. thinking all night How would we ever find Harry and Hermione?

We continued to stay at the Walsh house for a few weeks.. Ron and I helped take care of the twins, and helped clean around the house.. We spent a lot of time talking at night though.. about everything.. I realized that after knowing Ron for seven years, I didn't really know the real him, and according to him nobody really did.

He felt as I did about a lot of things, and we figured out that we did have a lot in common more than we ever could have thought.

He truly felt terrible about leaving Harry and Hermione and everyday he would go on about how much he regretted it.
