"Where's Draco?" I called to Ron as we started descending the stairs towards the boathouse.
"I don't know" Ron said "There's no time" I glanced back quickly at the battle that was taking place behind us, but when I looked back ahead.. there were about thirty demoters in the way of us getting down the the boathouse. I let out a scream as Ron made his way in front of me. We weren't sure what to do.. That was when a bright light appeared behind us. I looked back to see Alberforth pointing his wand at the dementors making them all cower away from the light. I quickly nodded to him before we began again running down the stairs towards the boathouse.
Once we got there.. we could instantly hear the voices of Snape and Voldemort. We leaned down our bodies nearly on the floor praying that Voldemort wouldn't hear us. I was next to Ron as we started to listen to their conversation.
"My lord.. that wand will not fail you when the time comes.. it is loyal to you.. and only you" Snape said calmly
"Are you sure about that Severus?" Harry, Hermione, Ron's and my eyes widened as we recognized the voice to be the voice of Ivior Halfheart
"You're a clever man Severus... surly you know where the wands true loyalty lies.." Voldemort whispered "The elder wand cannot serve me properly because I am not it's true master... it belongs to the one who killed its last owner..you killed Dumbledore.. and while you are alive.. the elder wand can not truly be mine"
I glanced to Harry as he started to breath heavily... I touched my hand to his that was resting on the ground to help him calm down... he looked at me sadly before calming his breathing.
"My Lord" Snape said calmly.. and then slash... Snape crashed into the wall in front of us.
"Niguni... Kill" Voldemort said quietly... I covered my mouth trying not to scream as we heard Voldemort's snake Striking Snape multiple times
"Come" Voldemort whispered before we heard Him, Niguini, and Ivior apparate away as Snape struggled to breath. We all stood up as Harry rushed into the room. It was a terrible sight... Snape was pretty much mangled by the snake and there was blood everywhere... but Snape was still alive. i covered my mouth again as Harry bent down next to Snape clutching his face in his hands. I could only faintly see the tears as they started to fall from his face.
"Take them.. please" Snape cried
"Hermione" Harry said turning around "I need a flask or something... anything" Hermione dug around in her bag before pulling out a small flask and throwing it to Harry. Harry caught it and quickly collected the tears from snapes face.
"You have your mothers eyes.." Snape whispered before closing his eyes... and taking his final breath. My eyes closed as I didn't want to see Snape's mangled body anymore.. It was terrible.
"He knew" I whispered
"He knew what?" Ron questioned
"He knew Draco as the one to disarm Dumbledore...He knew but he didn't say anything" I said quietly
"Well that makes sense Haley... he made the unbreakable vow" Ron said
"No" Harry cut in still starring at Snapes Lifeless body.. "I think it was more than that... I think It was always more than that"
We all started to walk towards the exit when Harry stopped suddenly putting his Hands over his ears... "Harry what's wrong" I said as I made my way towards him but then I stopped too. It was Voldemort
"You have fought valently...I do not wish this... every drop of magical blood is a great waste... I command my army to retreat... in their absence dispose of your dead. Haley Silvering... You have wasted your time and have become a clear target... there are no more chances to join the side in which you truly belong.... Harry Potter to who now I speak directly.. you have allowed your friends to die for you instead of facing me yourself... there is no greater fault on your part. Join me in the forbidden forest... and face your fate... the fate in which your friends... Haley Silvering.. Ronald Weasley.. and Hermione Grnager have already sealed... if you do not do this i will kill every last man woman and child who continue to conceal you from me... This is your last warning"
"Oh shit" I whispered. Harry continued to stare ahead
"Harry.. you aren't possibly thinking of.." Hermione started to say
"No.." Harry whispered "I'm not.. we better go before its to late"
