Chapter 70~ eye of the storm

I slowly opened my eyes.. My whole body ached.. I didn't know where I was. But when I sat up I noticed that I was in the great hall. But how did I get here? I looked around before widening my eyes. I was on the top of a pile of dead bodies.

Did I die... Am I dead? I opened and closed my eyes multiple times before coming to the conclusion that I was still alive. I right away noticed the sword of Gryffindor resting beside me... I now was determined. This battle had gone on long enough... I needed to kill the snake. Even if it was the last thing that I ever did.

I made my way off the pile of dead bodies and tried to make it out of the room in which more fighting had insued between to opposing sides.. I needed to find that snake and fast. I made my way to the corridor. Looking both ways. Making sure that there was nobody that would catch me with the sword .

It wasn't long before I was alone in the dark corridor, A maze as I didn't recognize the place I used to call my home.

I looked around each corner before going around... but I guess I didn't check throughly because at the end of the corridor stood a black figure.. I kept walking praying it was someone from our side... but it wasn't.. It was him- my father, Ivior Halfheart

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" Ivior questioned "What do you think you're doing with that?" I looked down at the sword before looking back up at him

"I'm going to kill the snake.. I'm going to destroy the last Horcrux.. I'm going to end this battle once and for all"

"But Haley... however will you do that when your aren't here to do so" Ivior said. I then noticed the wand that was pointed directly at my heart... Ivior was going to kill me. He then shot a curse at me but I quickly pulled out my wand and shot a defensive spell blocking the curse... and soon enough a full blown duel broke out against Ivior and I.

I Didn't want to kill him... I didn't want to Kill anyone except for Voldemort and the Snake... But I would never be able to get to the snake unless I got pat Ivior first.

Well spells and cursed were being shot at me by Ivior I made my way down the corridor towards him. It was like walking through bullets... each spell only missing me by a cinimeter.

"Don't do anything you'll regret.." Ivior hissed "I am your father"

I pointed my wand at Ivior again "You...are...not...my...father!" and with all of the strength I could Muster "Cinfringo!" I screamed and with that Ivior exploded into Flames..He was dead.

I stared at the flames for a moment before running in the opposite direction... at this point Hogwarts was shaking. I finally made to the steps where I frantically looked for Voldemort's snake... and then I saw it.. slithering down the stairs.. but.It was after something. I rushed down the stairs to see the snake cornering Ron and Hermione... It leaned in for the kill when the adrenaline instantly pulsed through my veins. I gripped the sword in my hands running to the snake as fast as I could smoothly cutting the head off allowing the last and final horcrux to be distroyed.

"Haley.." Ron whispered in shock.. he must have thought I was dead.. ashes of nagini went far above us and into the sky... I looked out into the courtyard where Voldemort and Harry were dueling.. but one the snake was dead Harry knew it, Harry knew that the Horcrux had been distroyed. They paused for just a moment before continuing their fight. With all of his strength Harry flung his wand towards Voldemort causing he Elderwand to go flying into the air. Harry catching it and killing him.. killing Voldemort. Harry had done it. And int a matter of seconds Voldemort broke into a million pieces. Nothing but ash and smoke... and failure.
