Chapter 21~Sunset

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and I sat silently as we were on the Hogwarts express going home, well they were going home. I wasn't, I was going to the burrow with Ron. I laid my head on the window as I watched Hogwarts disappear in the distance.

"I'm not going back to Hogwarts" Harry blurted out in a whisper. Hermione, Ron's, and my head shot up to face him

"what do you mean you aren't coming back Harry?" Hermione questioned puzzled

"Dumbledore, he told me I needed to find the seven horcrux's in order to um.. kill you know who" Harry whispered quietly so only the four of us could hear.

"You just sound mad Harry, I'm coming with you" Ron said

"Me too" Hermione added. All three of them looked towards me. I wasn't sure I was interested in skipping my seventh year of Hogwarts but I knew what I had to do, I knew what the right thing was.

"I'll come too, you can count on me Harry.. forever" I put my hand out as Hermione and Ron grabbed It followed by Harry.

And that was it
we weren't going back to Hogwarts.

Ever

For the rest of June I stayed at the burrow with the Weasleys who were of course happy to have me but the majority of my nights were filled with nightmares of Voldemort.. calling me to the other side. I would wake up crying reaching for Draco but he was never there. I needed to get used to the fact that he wouldn't be in the same bed as me for a long time.. Ron would come into Ginny's room and wake me up from the nightmares, but i knew he himself dealt with nightmares of his own..

Ron was worried sick about our quest to find the horcruxs. He didn't want to leave his family behind. One day while we were all eating dinner I saw Ron's facial expression change. He quickly got up and walked out of the burrow.

I followed after him..He was standing a few yards in front of the burrow starring ahead in the distance.

"Ron you alright?" I questioned

"No" He said softly

"Well what's wrong?" I asked

"I'm just worried.. i mean, i know something bad is going to happen, I've known it for years, but it's to soon.. things are getting to real to fast."

"I know" I said sitting down in the grass before Ron did too. "I feel like we're just leaving everything behind"

"Then let's not go" Ron said turning towards me, our faces inches apart "You and me.. let's just go back to Hogwarts"

"Ron.. I know what you're saying, and I wish we could do that too, but Hogwarts won't be the same without Dumbledore.. it will never be the same again, and besides we couldn't do that to Harry" I said sadly

"Oh please.. you know that Hermione would still go with Harry no matter what I did" Ron said looking down at the grass.

I sighed before we both looked out at the view of the meadows as the sun was setting. It felt like the last view of the sun the we would see for a long time before the wave of darkness that would soon overcome the only world we had ever known.

That's it! Part one of the second book Is done. I'm super excited to start part two. Draco and Haley are going to be separated for a little while starting now but just bear with me In the meantime Haley will be going on the quest with Harry, Hermione, and Ron trying to find the horcruxs so you will learn a lot more about her relationship with the three of them as well as her connection to Voldemort and the rest of the death eaters I hope you enjoyed part one thanks for reading!
