"Don't you see, it was definitely a ceremony some kind of ineceation" Harry said to Hermione,Ron, and I as we sat in their usual compartment on the Hogwarts express going back to Hogwarts for our sixth year.
I rolled my eyes dramatically "What exactly are you trying to say Harry?" I asked
"Harry seems to be under the impression that Draco Malfoy is a death eater" Hermione cut in
"What?" I said looking back at Harry "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever hear-"
"Well It would only make sense, why else would he be a Borgin and Burks, he definitely wasn't shopping around for furniture" Harry said with a serious expression on his face. I almost let out a laugh
"Harry you can't be serious" I said
"Yeah why would You know who want a git like Malfoy" Ron said as I glared at him
"Fine" Harry said standing up "You guys will see"
"Harry.." Hermione said quietly
"I need some air" Harry said gathering something sitting on the shelf above us before leaving the compartment shutting the door roughly. I rolled my eyes again as I saw him disappear into the corridor.
"How could he think Draco's a death eater? I mean his father's a death eater so that explains why he would be in Borgin and Burks but that doesn't automatically mean Draco's one of them" I ranted to Ron and Hermione who both shrugged their shoulders. That was when I saw Luna pass by our compartment I hadn't seen her since the department of mysteries. "I'm gonna go say hello to Luna" I said before exiting the compartment.
"Hey Luna" I said as I stepped out of the compartment
"Oh hello Haley, It's quite nice to see you "She said quietly. She was wearing a pink outfit and had a stack of the 'Quibbler' in her arms, she was also wearing funny looking glasses on her head. "How have you been?" She asked
"I've been better" I replied "What are those glasses for?"
"Oh these?" She said lightly touching the glasses with her fingers "These are Spectrespecs, they allow me to the the Wrackspurts"
"Wrackspurts?" I questioned
"They're invisible little creatures.. they fly into your ears and make your brain go fuzzy.. I thought I felt some around here" She said quietly
"Interesting" I said as we felt the Hogwarts Express come to a stop "We're here already?"
"I suppose so" Luna said as she started walking towards the exit with me following behind her. Once we exited the train I started making my way towards the carriages but stopped when I noticed Luna was no longer with me.
"Luna you coming?" I asked
"No just waiting for everyone to exit" she said starring at the train. I went back towards the train to stand next to her. We waited until we saw the last person exit. Draco
I got so excited when I saw him that I started walking towards him but Luna grabbed my arm softly slipping her weird glasses over her eyes "Come Haley" I nodded before following her back on the train. She walked through slowly looked in every compartment.
"Luna, what are you looking for" I questioned
"Anything really" She whispered back as we neared the Slytherin compartment we started to walk down the isle when she stopped in her tracks.
"Do you see something?" I whispered
"Finite" Luna said loudly pointing her wand at the ground revealing Harry laying paralyzed on the floor under his invisibility cloak.
"Harry?" I questioned running over to him helping him up.
"Luna, how did you guys find me?" Harry questioned regaining his balance
"Wackspurts" Luna said looking around the compartment "Your head is full of them" Harry didn't even bother to ask.
"Common we better go" I said as all three of us exited the train walking towards the large gate.
"Sorry I made you guys miss the carriages" Harry said as we entered the large gate it closing tightly behind us.
"That's quite alright Harry" Luna said quietly "It's just like being with friends"
"But- oh never mind" Harry said
"I've been waiting for you three" Professor Flitwik said writing something on a piece of parchment "Names?" He asked
"Professor you've known us for five years" I said in surprise
"No exceptions Silvering" Professor Flitwik said
"It's not a weapon..it's a walking stick you cretin" we heard someone slightly ahead of us yell.. but I could recall that voice from anywhere. We looked up to see Malfoy arguing with Flinch over a black walking stick.
"I can vouch for Mr Malfoy" Professor Snape said appearing behind them. Draco roughly snatched the stick out of Flinch's hand. He looked towards where Luna, Harry, and I were standing. His body seemed to pause when his eyes met mine. I gave him a small smile but he didn't smile back he just looked at me before looking to Harry.
"Nice face Potter" Draco mocked before following Snape towards the castle.
