My body stung as I slammed into the freezing water.. I struggled to breath as I swam towards the shore which seemed at the moment thousands of miles away.I couldn't see Hermione, Harry, or Ron. I was breathing so heavily once I dragged myself onto the shore.. I nearly passed out but came back too when I heard Hermione draw near to me.
"Haley are you alright?" She asked helping me up from the ground..
"I'm fine" I whispered
"He knows" Harry blurted out
"What?" I asked
"You know who.. he knows we're hunting Horcruxs, he knows we broke into Gringotts, he knows everything and he will stop at nothing to make sure we don't get the last one" Harry said in a panic
"Harry.. you let him into his head agin didn't you.. you can't do that!"Hermione said angrily
"I know I'm sorry" Harry said "Um one more thing"
"what?" Ron asked "Just spit it out.. things can't get any worse"
"One of the horcrux's is at Hogwarts" Harry said
"Wow.." Ron said before he paused "I guess things can get worse"
"You mean.." I paused "We're going back to Hogwarts?" Harry nodded
"But Snapes headmaster now.. we can't just walk though the front door" Ron said
"We'll go through the secret passage in honeydukes" Harry said "That should work"
Later
"Ron?" I whispered as Ron and I layed in our sleeping bags on the cold rock as Hermione and Harry slept. It was the night before we would return to Hogwarts.
"What?" He whispered back
"Are you afraid to return to Hogwarts?" I asked
"Yeah" Ron whispered facing me
"I'm afraid too" I said quietly "But not as much about what we're going to face.. but about the memories we'll also face of the place it used to be"
"Yeah" Ron said before I heard his breathing slow indicating that he fell asleep. I sighed before I shifted in my sleeping bag still starring up at the sky.. when a flash of white light overcame my vision.
I was standing in a dark alleyway... my stomach was tied in knots as my head began throbbing.. my head looked from side to side trying to figure out where i was in this vision.. that was when a dark figure approached. I started shaking as the darkness overcame my body.
"Haley" The voice whispered.. that was when everything became burry although i was in a gitchy movie "Bring Harry Potter to me and you will not face your fate.. bring Harry Potter to me and you will not face your fate, bring Harry Potter to me and Draco Malfoy will remain breathing. You and I both know I have the true power.. i am power itself. I can make anything I want. This is your last chance of forgiveness" That was when gruely images of Draco's lifeless body appeared in my mind "I will do whatever it takes" the dark shadow whispered
That was when I was thrown out of the vision "no, no, no" I screamed tearing myself up from the ground i spun around. I saw about four of Harry as he ran towards me. "Haley what's wrong" I heard someone say in a panic
"No,no no" I started to yell in fear I didn't know where i was or wha was going on.. it was like i was in an alternate universe.
I crumpled to the ground with my hands over my ears. I saw my friends but i didn't know which of them were real as i was seeing multiple of them i cried and cried until my ears slowly became quieter and Harry, Hermione, and Ron were one again.
My Breathing was still heavy as i starred into the distance.
"Haley...What happened?" Hermione questioned
"you- you know- who" I whispered
"What?" Harry questioned "He was in your head?" I nodded slightly
"He- he was talking to me.. like I was there where ever he was" I said
"Well what did he say" Ron asked
"I- I can't remember" I lied.. If i told them what Voldemort said they may not trust me anymore. "But i think we need to go now"
"Go where" Harry asked
"To Hogwarts.. we need to get that horcrux before he does"
