Two days later, a bit before 9 PM

The day had finally come. When Bora woke up, the first thing she wanted to do was to see Siyeon. However, Minji told her that the civilians demanded letters and money sent back to them because of their dead loved ones from the war. Gahyeon also moved in to the castle to work for Yubin, and Bora had to give her a tour of the castle. Bora worked on the letters all day. The war wasn't over yet, but it would be, eventually.

Now it was around 9 PM. Bora was finished with writing letter for the day, and she was sitting in her throne room reading a Diamond City newspaper. She had just finished an article when the clock struck 9.

"Minji! It's 9 o'clock! Can I please go see Singnie now?" Bora desperately asked her assistant. Minji smirked, knowing that it was the time.

"Yes, you may. Guards! Open the doors!" Minji was very excited. The guards, who also had bright smiles on their faces, opened the doors to let Bora see the pink rose petal path that led to her beloved.

Bora was shocked. "Minji, you prepared this, didn't you?" she playfully smacked her assistant. "No wonder you were smiling so much the entire day!"

"Just go on!" Minji replied. Bora, knowing Siyeon was waiting for her, grabbed her dress to prevent stepping on it, and ran. She ran like her life was depending on it. She had been waiting for this moment for so long, too long! 

Bora finally reached the decorated garden. The fountain had pink ribbons on it. Siyeon was standing in front of it, her short, blonde hair and brand-new Knight Commander armor glistening in the moonlight. Bora gasped. Siyeon's beauty could not be described in words. Her blonde hairstyle was toned lighter than Bora's, and it gave off an intimidating and powerful vibe. She carried a bouquet of pink roses in her hands.

"Do you like it?" Siyeon asked Bora, who was checking out her body in the new armor.

"Very." Bora loved it. She then raised her head so she could meet Siyeon's eyes. They both smiled warmly as Bora threw herself into Siyeon's arms, causing the bouquet to fall onto the ground. 

"Do you remember this place, Bora?" Siyeon asked Bora while hugging her tenderly.

"How could I forget?" Bora remembered when she was first introduced to Siyeon. Bora was a very upbeat and extroverted soul, while Siyeon was more on the introverted side. Siyeon was very shy, and Bora found that amusing. Both of their mothers were both too busy to take care of the two, so they decided to let them become friends to save time and work. It worked, of course.

"You were hiding behind Auntie Hyori the entire time! You refused to look at me! You were so shy!" Bora laughed.

"That was 14 years ago, Bora." Siyeon pulled away from the hug. She cleared her throat, ready to give her speech to Bora.

"14 years ago, we met in this little garden. Who knew that we would become the best of friends after that. We would stick together through the toughest times, whether it was kingdom relations, you getting neglected, or my father."

Bora sniffled, remembering the terrible memories and how Siyeon comforted her when she was lonely. Her parents loved her, but they were incredibly busy. When Siyeon wasn't around, she barely had any friends to hang out with back then.

"We would cry into each others' arms. We would always be there to support each other. We would give each other comfort foods and have fun running through the halls of this castle. We still are, and I hope we can from this point on. Kim Bora, will you be my girlfriend?" Siyeon slightly cringed, since this was super short and sounded terrible to her.
