Hwang Sooyeon was cooking some samgyetang in her peaceful restaurant when castle guards suddenly arrived, barging through the door, and told her to go to the castle.

"What is the meaning of this? At least let me finish cooking my samgyetang!" Sooyeon pretended to struggle. In reality, the delicate-looking woman was a fierce fighter who could easily take down these guards.

"Sooyeon, something happened. I need your help." Seungyeon entered her friend's restaurant. "The samgyetang isn't important now!"

"Seungyeonie? Is that you? How- I thought you were dead!" Sooyeon hadn't seen her friend in many years. She wasn't very surprised, however, since they were both women who were fighting to survive in Neverland Kingdom. The two met during their teen years, which was during the war. Sooyeon taught Seungyeon many of her tricks, which allowed them to live better than many others.

"Yes, it's me! Hurry, we've got no time to waste! I'll explain later!" Seungyeon grabbed Sooyeon and they hopped on a horse, headed back to the castle.

About 20 minutes later

"So you're telling me that you successfully escaped with Yujin after being captured by Song Yuqi, you are working for the Queen, and right now her girlfriend knight is captured by the Song Yuqi herself? And I have to disguise as Her Majesty and get traded?" Seungyeon had just finished giving Sooyeon a brief explanation about what was going on. They were both in the throne room with Bora and Yubin.

"Yeah." Seungyeon replied.

"Song Yuqi herself... Well, I know about Lee Siyeon- she is on the news everywhere! But this is Queen Soyeon's former wife, Yuqi, who was the one who shamelessly planned her wife's death... " Sooyeon was worried, but she knew that she was perfect for the job. "I accept."

"Great! You are saving our beautiful kingdom, and when you return, you will be given a huge reward!" Bora was thrilled. Hwang Sooyeon was their only hope now to win the war AND save Siyeon.

"I don't need a reward, Your Majesty." Sooyeon really didn't need a reward. She had everything she wanted in her little restaurant.

"Please. I order you to accept the money." Bora urged.

"Fine. But I'll use it for other purposes." Sooyeon decided to use the money to make her restaurant bigger and hire more workers.

Yubin helped devise a plan for the upcoming night. They would switch clothes at 1 AM, before the time would come. Sooyeon, as Bora, would pretend to be defenseless (since she was a queen who didn't know any martial arts). She would also pretend to apologize to Siyeon and would cry at the sight of her. At the right time, Sooyeon would eventually set herself free and kidnap Yuqi, turning the tables. She didn't know when, but she knew Yuqi would have to use Bora for winning the war somehow.

2 AM

Yuqi was waiting in the courtroom, with a whip in her hand. Siyeon was chained by two of Yuqi's guards, still badly bleeding from a stab wound in her leg. Some other guards carried her sword and armor, ready to mail it back to the castle.

"Guards! Any news of Bora's choice?" Yuqi was impatient. She hoped that Bora would fall for her tricks, just like how Siyeon had done when she mentioned her mother.

"Yes. Minghao just came back and said that Bora is on her way here, alone." a guard replied.

"Good. Did you hear that, Siyeon? Your Queen is giving herself up to save you, how sad." Yuqi patted Siyeon's back. She could see some tears in Siyeon's eyes. Siyeon couldn't respond, since she was gagged.

A few minutes later, Sooyeon, wearing Bora's dress, cape, and tiara, pretended to be scared while going into the courtroom.

"Is anybody here? It's really dark." Sooyeon asked in the darkness. Siyeon knew that wasn't Bora's voice. Bora must've planned something! Thank goodness it's not her! she thought. Relief flooded through her veins. However, she still had to go along with the act. She started to force the tears out of her eyes.

"Well, well, well. Your beloved Knight Commander Siyeon is crying even more. Luckily, she will be set free once you put on these chains." Yuqi lit a single candle and saw Sooyeon. She made sure Siyeon, all beaten up and injured, was visible. Yuqi whipped Siyeon on the back.

"No! Not my Singnie! Stop whipping her! I'm here now, aren't I? Please, set her free now! I will give myself up!" Sooyeon pretended to beg and plea. Tears gushed out of her eyes, giving Siyeon the signal to also cry and pretend to protest.

"Aww, how sweet of you. Look, you have made our brave, stone-cold lone wolf Siyeon cry even more. Wow, this sort of love story deserves to be made into a play." Yuqi gestured for the guards to chain Sooyeon.

The guards finally unchained Siyeon. They made sure that she was too injured to walk, so that some suicide guards (to prevent revealing the entrance to the courtroom) would drop Siyeon and her armor and sword in front of the castle.

Sooyeon was gagged before she could say anything, and then she watched Siyeon get carried away from the castle with hopeful eyes.

7 AM

Bora woke up. The first thing that she did after she got ready for the day was to see if Siyeon had returned. She rushed to the hospital immediately. As planned, Siyeon was laying on a bed, awake but injured.

"Singnie! You're alive!" Bora pushed the nurse aside and knelt down, crying. Siyeon was only gone for less than a day, but it felt like forever. "Did Yuqi?"

Siyeon started crying at the sight of her girlfriend. "Don't worry, Bora. I'm all okay- ah!" she grunted at the pain when she tried to hold Bora's hands.

"Nurse! What did that monster do to her?" Bora asked the nurse.

"My Queen, Commander Siyeon was stabbed multiple times in the right calf, though not severely, thankfully. She has been whipped multiple times, too, on the back. Those wounds will sadly be permanent. Her pinky finger is broken, but broken bones heal on their own. It just takes a while. The last injury detected was a cut on the belly, which isn't serious. In about a few days, she can be discharged." the nurse replied.

Bora had to wait. Again. Like Yuqi, she was a very impatient person.

"It's okay, Bora. Just wait a few more days for me. I can't wait to hug you once I get better." Siyeon apologetically said to Bora.

"Me too. Now, tell me, what did Yuqi say to you while you were in there?"
