Chapter 8

"So you're telling me that Advisor Yuqi is residing in the castle ruins?!? Impossible! I demolished it!" Sua questioned the three women bowing to her in her throne room. This was going to be an interesting Sunday.

"She apparently rebuilt it these past eight years. We better hurry before she finds out that we are missing and runs away, Your Majesty!" Mijoo pleaded.

"Good idea, Mijoo! GUARDS! Go capture Song Yuqi and all of her men immediately!" Bora ordered. She never expected all of this revolution stuff to go this smoothly. Maybe it was because Yuqi was really dumb, or she was really lucky. Who knew?

"And you! You killed Mina Myoi! What do you have to say for yourself? You think that you can just show up here and beg for mercy? You think you can live in my castle, where everyone is scared of you?" Bora scolded the bounty hunter. Seungyeon hung her head in shame.

"Please, Your Majesty. I didn't have a choice. If I failed, she would've killed Yujin here." Seungyeon shifted closer to Yujin.

"I understand why you had to murder Mina, but what about your previous deeds? Jang Seungyeon, you are wanted everywhere in my kingdom. You have murdered Park Minyoung, one of our biggest metal producers! So many people have died because of you," Bora was feeling a bit of sympathy for the bounty hunter and her girlfriend.

"I was very poor in Neverland Kingdom. I really needed the money to support Yujin and I. The economy was in crisis, since the government was really corrupted and used the money for themselves."

"I see." Bora then turned around to whisper to her cousin, who was sitting beside her. They discussed many things. Mijoo had also told them about which knights they should immediately jail, who the four bounty hunters they caught were, and many other things about Yuqi.

About 10 minutes passed, since this was a very serious matter. Eventually, Bora forgave Seungyeon, and let her move in with Yujin. Yujin would work in the kitchens (since she was a very good cook), and Seungyeon would be a guard. When the good news was announced, Yujin and Seungyeon smiled and kissed each other warmly. They were very, very happy and grateful to Mijoo. Tears were running down both of their faces. They thanked Bora, bowed, and were allowed to leave the room, running down the halls to reach their new home.

About a week later

Yubin was doing her normal duties as Grand Master: looking through knight applications, updating documents about information, practicing her combat skills, etc. Grand Master was a boring job. Yes, it was a very high position, but it was incredibly tiring.

There was one thing she couldn't get off her mind the previous weeks. It was that cute and timid girl that she saved during the day of the banquet. Lee Gahyeon... Yubin thought constantly. She hated turning down the girl's offer to pay her back, but she didn't want to stress the girl out. She was very cute. Yubin wished that she could see her again. However, she didn't know if Gahyeon wanted to. She had her duties in Handong's manor, and she would probably never come to the castle again after that incident.

Yubin went back to filing documents when there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Yubin asked.

"Oh, Yubinie, you don't even recognize me?" Handong's voice was heard on the other side.

"Dongie! Don't blame me! You didn't even say anything! Come on in!" Yubin replied.

Handong greeted her friend. She took a seat in front of Yubin's table.

"The reason why I'm here today is because of one particular person..."

Yubin perked up. Gahyeon! "Gahyeon, I'm guessing?"
