The next night, a bit before 3 AM

Siyeon was on the way to her dormitory to get some sleep. She had just finished training after hours because of her new status. She wouldn't sleep at Bora's quarters today, since it was incredibly late and Bora was probably asleep. Yoohyeon was probably fast asleep at this late time, since she had a tough day as a Knight Commander.

Siyeon picked up the pamphlets and papers in their mailbox that consisted of castle news, city news, advertisements, etc. One tiny paper caught her eye. It was a letter addressed to her.

To Knight Commander Lee Siyeon

It turns out that Lady Lee Hyori might not be so long gone after all. However, she could be eventually. She told me that she wanted to see you before she died.

Your mother is waiting at the courtroom, where she was "killed." Or was she? Who knows?

She won't be there until 3 AM sharp.

You probably don't trust me, considering that I am from Neverland Kingdom. However, I never break promises. You know that well. My Soyeonie does, too.

You better be there, Lee Siyeon, or you will never see your precious mother again.

Siyeon gasped. When her mother died, Siyeon was sitting at home, without her father (who was already dead), waiting for her mother's trial (for being the wife of a Soyeon supporter) at the courtroom to end when she heard the mailman say that her mother was dead. She ran all the way to the courtroom to find her mother's neck slit, her body dead on the floor. Siyeon ran away from the guards, who wanted to destroy the last remaining family member, and she hid very well and eventually ran all the way to Insomnia Kingdom, where safety was.

Her mother was the only person besides Bora who would comfort her when she was sad. Apparently, she was still alive. Emotions took over Siyeon and left no time for clear thinking, just like the dumb main leads in plays and dramas who never think logically and act before they think. (Very cliche, right?)She looked at the clock. It was 2:45. Neverland Kingdom's old castle, where Yuqi was residing and where the war took place, took around ten minutes to get to, if you traveled really fast. Siyeon ran down to the stables and took the fastest horse.

The knights were still fighting, and Siyeon had to sneak to the back of the castle so that no one would see her. The courtroom was very, very small, since Bora had demolished the castle and Yuqi just rebuilt it. However, the design made it look exactly like it was back then. Siyeon wandered in the darkness, with the moon as her only source of light, looking for her mother. The clock finally struck 3 AM.

"So you made it on time," Yuqi's deep voice was heard.

"Where is my mother, Song Yuqi?" Siyeon demanded. She drew her sword.

Yuqi laughed evilly. "Drop your sword first. Not sure if your mother would want to see her daughter be a vicious, kill-first type of person."

Siyeon complied and dropped her sword. "Done."

"Good. Now, take off your armor, so your mother can see the person in the inside better." Yuqi smiled in the darkness.

Siyeon took off her Knight Commander armor. "Finished. Show me my mother now."

"Very well. Guards! Bring Lee Hyori in here!" Yuqi laughed. Her plan was going too easily. Was Siyeon always this dumb?

The guards suddenly grabbed Siyeon and chained her. Siyeon finally realized that it was a trap!
