Minji had just finished restoring her hair to its natural brown and was headed back to Bora's office. On the way, Minji made sure to stop by a certain dorm room to drop something off. She didn't get to talk with Yoohyeon as much as before, since she was now a Knight Commander and was usually busy for the entire day. The only times they could meet were during lunch, but Yoohyeon stayed at the knights' lunch tables today for some reason. Minji also had new tasks to do with Bora because of the war almost coming to an end, and she hadn't talked with Yoohyeon for almost two weeks.

Minji had a letter for Yoohyeon to read that expressed her love and how she missed her so much. Bora was able to see Siyeon rarely (for visits to the hospital, but not all the time because the hospital was filled with injured knights), but Gahyeon stayed with Yubin the entire time. Minji sometimes felt a little jealous, but she was glad that she wasn't a third wheel anymore. Her letter was short, but sweet.

The letter went:

To My Dearest Yoohyeon

Have you noticed that we haven't seen each other for almost two whole weeks? Don't worry, I'm not scolding you or anything. It's just that I miss you and your bright, positive smile that makes my day a hundred times better. I hope you feel the same. Maybe we could meet up tomorrow? I'm free during lunch. Tomorrow is also a Saturday, so I'm also free during 4 PM through 8 PM. Please send me a letter back, if you can. Don't stress about the job, you're doing great!

I also found out that Yubin and Gahyeon had their first kiss today, from the news. Tell Yubin that I am giving her congrats and hope that Gahyeon is doing well with the relationship being public.

Minji hoped that she and Yoohyeon could have their second kiss, which would be their first kiss as an official couple. Among their friends, they were the first to become official, but they had the least physical contact. Yoohyeon was very shy when it came to these types of things, even shyer than Yubin. However, Minji was determined.

8 PM

Yoohyeon was returning to her dorm. Dinner had just ended, and she had a tough time disciplining knights who kept on badmouthing Gahyeon the entire day. She wanted to sleep two hours early, since today was very stressful.

She made sure to pick up the mail in her dorm's mailbox to see if there were any updates. There was the usual- advertisements, city news, Yubin's castle newsletter, etc. She saw Minji's letter, wrapped in an envelope that said "I love you". She blushed and felt like she was about to cry. She missed Minji so, so much.

After she finished reading it, the tears fell out. She felt like she had neglected Minji. Yoohyeon ran to her desk to write a letter back.

To My Dearest Minji,

I am so, so sorry for not being able to talk with you these weeks- what kind of girlfriend am I? A girlfriend who neglects you? I will try my best to improve.

I am doing fine as a Knight Commander, but the younger knights can be exhausting sometimes. They gossip about Gahyeon a lot, but today Yubin and Gahyeon taught them a lesson, which was why I was busy this lunch. I am free all day tomorrow, since it is a weekend. I will tell Yubin that you sent them congrats! She and Gahyeon will be very happy to hear that.

I miss you so much, Minji, I really do. I hope you know that I am still here in the castle, even if it feels like we are oceans apart. Just wait until tomorrow, okay? Then you can see me! I have to go sleep early now.
