Gahyeon was busy filing documents, as usual. This time, however, Yubin was not by her side because she was talking with Bora. She felt lonely. After these final documents are done, I'm going to talk to Arin, she thought.
Suddenly, the door opened and Binnie stepped inside. Gahyeon noticed a few buds of sweat on her forehead.
"Assistant Binnie? Is there anything you need?" Gahyeon asked. Why didn't Binnie knock? It was rather rude of her, but she needed to be nice to foreigners.
"Umm... the Grand Master's not here?" Binnie was panicking. She didn't know what to do next.
"Yeah, Yubin is talking with Her Majesty right now. I can leave a message for her if you want."
"That would be... splendid." Binnie needed to make her move. She could hear the guards outside looking for her direction. "Hey, what's that picture on the wall? Is that Grand Master Yubin?" she pointed to Yubin's self-drawn portrait. As Gahyeon turned around, Binnie took out a gag and grabbed the unsuspecting girl.
"Mmmph!" Gahyeon tried to struggle, but it was of no use. Her mouth was gagged, and Binnie had just used a rope to tie her hands and legs together.
"Cooperate with me and you will survive, okay?" Binnie whispered into Gahyeon's ear as she picked her up and put her inside a sack. Gahyeon's near-death experience with YooA was scary enough, so she nodded and stopped struggling.
Binnie took out her knife and kept it in her hands. She ran through the castle, threatening to kill Gahyeon if anyone stepped close to her. Yubin heard the commotion and ran over.
"Assistant Binnie! Where do you think you're going?" Yubin drew her sword, which was always by her side.
"You better move out of my way or she gets it!" Binnie placed the knife near the place where Gahyeon's neck was on the sack.
"Who is in there? I won't fall for any of your tricks, Binnie." Yubin stepped closer.
"Really? I'm sure your assistant wouldn't want to die seeing you there!" Binnie opened the sack a little, exposing Gahyeon's face.
"Gahyeon?!? No!!" Yubin exclaimed. "Wh- why?!? What did she ever do to you?!?"
"Nothing. I just need her for a lil' something, Grand Master. What, can't your amazing, five-star knight skills save her?" Binnie placed the knife closer to Gahyeon's neck, causing her to whimper. "Dare to challenge me? Step any closer and she dies!"
Yubin couldn't bear to see her girlfriend die. Gahyeon didn't deserve to leave the world so early. She had only been in the castle for a few months. She was also her everything- her joy, her love, and now it could be cruelly taken away from her.
"Gahyeon, I won't let her kill you. I'm sorry." Yubin dropped her sword, tears coming out from her eyes. Gahyeon tried to protest and scream through her gag, which only made Binnie move the knife closer.
"Didn't I tell you to cooperate, bitch?" Binnie yelled at Gahyeon as they walked out of the castle, guards stepping aside for them to leave. Gahyeon started to cry as she nodded and stayed still.
Binnie made sure that nobody followed her as she walked into the nearby forest. She continued walking and only stopped when she was tired, which was during the daytime. It was too dangerous to rest during nighttime. She survived on pastries that she got from the royal kitchens the other day and drank water from creeks. She also made sure to keep Gahyeon alive, since without her she would get killed without hesitation.
Finally, after Binnie reached her destination: the walls that were the border between Insomnia Kingdom and Miracle Kingdom. She made sure her identification was ready, so she could enter her kingdom with ease.
"Now be quiet, or else I'll kill you without a second thought," Binnie told Gahyeon. Gahyeon nodded to show that she understood. Binnie then walked to the gates, carrying the sack that had Gahyeon in it.
"State your business!" one of the four guards blocked the entrance.
"Knight Rayeon, I believe that I have the authority to return to the castle." Binnie took out her identification card that showed them that she was the royal assistant.
"Assistant Binnie! Many apologies. But where are the others?"
"Her Majesty wanted to send me back early to add some things to the archives. Unfortunately, my horse was attacked by a pack of wolves and I had to walk back alone with my belongings," Binnie calmly made up a lie.
"Huh. Well, you may enter. Prepare a carriage for Assistant Binnie this instant, headed to the castle!" The guards let Binnie (and Gahyeon) in and then closed the gates, attending to the people behind Binnie who were also trying to get into Miracle Kingdom.
They finally reached the castle. Miracle Kingdom's castle was much smaller than Insomnia Kingdom's, since they weren't as wealthy. However, any castle was majestic enough to amaze Gahyeon. Even though she was kidnapped, she looked around in amazement at Miracle Kingdom's amazing scenery. The castle was surrounded by rich farmland, with a few major towns visible from far away. It was very different from Insomnia Kingdom, where cities lay everywhere you went (besides the many forests).
"Welcome to my beautiful home, Lady Gahyeon." Binnie allowed Gahyeon to enjoy the view. "I see you like it. Soon, it'll be all mine to own, where I can make us prosper and thrive more than we already do!"
Binnie later made Gahyeon hide in the sack again so she could enter her room. Gahyeon noticed that her room was filled with plaques, achievements, awards, etc. A fireplace was burning in front of her bed.
"Now, you'll have to cooperate with me, okay? I'll be nice enough to let you live. However, you'll be out of my sight for the rest of your days. I have so many things planned for you!" Binnie walked to a clock near her bed and turned it. The fireplace moved to the left to reveal a secret passageway.
"I built this myself. It took a long time to, but all my efforts weren't in vain, as you can see." Binnie grabbed the sack Gahyeon was in and went into the passageway, making sure to close it after they entered.
It was pretty cramped at first, but then it got wider as they got closer to their destination. Finally, Binnie turned a candleholder around to light the entire room up.
"Now don't move a muscle, for this place is loaded with traps that I, of course, built myself." Binnie told Gahyeon as they stayed on the last stair. Gahyeon noticed that there were spikes everywhere on the floor. She could see iron bars and chains around the room. Not a single window was on the walls. Weapons of all sorts were next to a desk piled with documents that could only belong to Binnie.
The room was a secret dungeon.
