The source material this is based off of is a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE with adults as the main characters. Chaos is going to ensue. There will be blood, sex and general mayhem. The Walking Dead universe is savage, I'm not going to water it down because I love Robert Kirkman's work way too much to do him dirty like that.
Also, it will help out if you're familiar with, or caught up with the show.
(And by swearing, I mean GENEROUS usage of the dreaded "F WORD" when Negan is introduced. Also, he makes jokes that may not age well. This is done intentionally to stay true to his comic book counterpart. It's kinda his thing. I won't apologize for staying true to the character!)

(In response to the claim that the character is a "toxic Mary Sue": I'm updating this with the note that Ellen is a very morally gray character that is going to make DOZENS of questionable decisions by the time this story is finally over. Toxic? YES. Mary Sue? HELL NO! She is full of flaws, and is not intended to be everyone's cup of tea. Everything is thought out ahead of time and will be revealed. )
(Also, this is not a poly fic to stay true to the characters, sorry ya'll lol)
