A few weeks later, I'm sitting drunk at the bar of the saloon in Blackwater. I shoot back another shot of whiskey, then demand the bartender to give me the whole bottle.
"I think you've had enough, ma'am." The bartender said with a irritated tone.
"Give me the fucking bottle, you asshat." I yelled, slamming my fist on the wood counter.
"Y-yes ma'am." The bartender said with a shaky voice, handing me the whole bottle.
I glared at him before grabbing the bottle and storming out of the saloon. I stumbled over to my horse, taking a long swig of the whiskey. It burned as it went down my throat. I jokingly offered some to my horse but snatched the bottle away as she actually tried getting some of it. I chuckled and took another swig.
"Y/N?" I heard a voice say, but I was too drunk to look to see who it was. John appeared in front of me and snatched the bottle from my hand. "What the hell are you doin'?"
"Gettin' drunk, what you think." I huffed, grabbing the bottle from his hand and taking a swig of it before he snatched it away again. "What are you doing here?" I slurred, pointing a finger in his face.
"I'm buyin' a gun."
"Where is it?" I asked as I grabbed the bottle and shot it back.
"On my horse, c'mon Im gonna take you to the ranch." John said before grabbing my arm and pulling me towards his horse. My horse followed behind me.
"Ooh, we goin' back to your place?" I said. John rolled his eyes and helped me onto his horse.
"Don't be stupid."
"I ain't stupid." I shouted and waved my hand in the air with annoyance. John mounted up as well and grabbed the reins. "You got a house on that ranch of yours?"
"Yeah, actually." John said with pride as he began riding out of town.
"What about a bed?" I giggled, the alcohol was definitely starting to really affect me.
"Y/N." John scolded, as if I were a toddler.
"What?" I chuckled, resting my chin on his shoulder and wrapping my arms around his torso.
"I forgot how you are drunk." John muttered as he turned a path.
"What you mean?" I asked. I could feel the alcohol kicking in, I began leaning over on the horse and almost falling, but thankfully John helped me out.
"You get all flirtatious and when people piss you off you try to kill them." John responded to me, rolling his eyes and turning the path to his ranch. I could see a good looking house on the property.
