Death is inescapable, there's no running from it only towards it. The decision you can make is either running towards it or waiting for it. I ran towards death, like lightning. Am I satisfied, that's a question I cannot yet answer.

During my life, all I thought about was death, death of others around me, death of my love, death of me. Death clouded my mind, until I met you. You, are the best thing that has ever happened to me, my love. I never thought I could be so consumed by someone until I met you. And when you left me, my heart broke into thousands of pieces. And I never collected them from the floor.

I avenged you my love, it cost me my life. But I did it, I won. I win because I get to be with you, and he must live a lonely afterlife, with no one but his demons to comfort him. I win because I was strong and fearless enough to kill him, knowing full well what it would cost. And most of all, I won because I have you.

People say that death comes too soon for some, but not for me. Death did not come early enough for me, but I realize now I was not ready to go then, but I am now.

-

My soul lifts from my body. I see my dead body laying in the snow, blood soaking my clothes. I see John and Sadie crouching over me. I want to tell them not to cry, that I am in peace now, but I can't. No words come out.

I turn to my left, Dutch is standing there, his gun ready to fall out of his hand. His mouth gapes as he realizes what he has done. I can only shake my head and move on.

I take a look at myself, my soul, perhaps, there is no blood, no wounds. My skin feels soft, my lips feel plump and smooth, unlike the ones on my dead body, that are dry and beginning to pale.

I feel like I am floating on air, I feel anew. But there is still something that weighs on me.

I turn around and there is Hosea, dressed in an all white suit, looking sharp as ever. His hair is gelled back and he looks a bit younger. His hair has more color and there are less wrinkles.

He reaches his hand out to me. "Come home, Y/N." He says, his voice full of kindness and warmth.

I nod and feel my eyes tear up. I grab his hand and it seems like everything flashes before my eyes. Like we just went into a teleportation device. When my vision becomes clear again, we are in front of a grave, decorated with flowers.

"Who's is this?" I ask Hosea, turning around to look at him. But when I turn he is gone, I am alone once again.

I turn back to the grave and kneel down. I dust the dirt off of it and it reveals the name of the owner, Arthur Morgan.

"Arthur.." I mutter to myself, a smile playing at my lips. I feel a tear role down my cheek. If I have passed, I should be able to see him, but I don't.

"Hey darlin'." I hear his sweet voice say from behind me. I spin around and see him once again, looking the same as when I saw him in Valentine, looking healthy.

"Hi." I giggled. Listening to his voice once again is like sweet honey. I never thought I would miss someone so much. And yet, I do. I missed him so, but now I won't have to.

He held his arms out to me, and I ran into them, wrapping my arms around his torso and taking in his scent. How I've missed this man so much. He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck as a smile formed on my lips.

"Did I do good, Arthur?" I ask him. He lifts his head and looks down at me with the most loving blue eyes.

"Yeah, you did." He answered me, softly. "Took you long enough."

I let out a laugh and pressed a kiss to his lips. It wasn't a hungry or passionate kiss. It was long and sweet. His lips felt soft against mine and he pulled me closer to him.

"Come on, let's go home. Everyone's waitin'." He said, leading me behind the mountain.

It seemed as if we were going to jump off, but I trust Arthur too much to question him. He held my hand as he took a step forward and a flash of light flashed before my eyes. I pushed my eyes closed as I felt as if I were flying.

I opened my eyes again once I stopped feeling of flying went away and appeared in Horseshoe Overlook. Everyone that passed was there, Hosea, Lenny, Miss Grimshaw, Sean, Mac, Davey, Jenny, everyone. My eyes welled up with tears as I saw all my past friends whom I now am reunited with at last.

They all greeted me with a hug. Sean is still being his obnoxious self, Lenny is the same. Miss Grimshaw is still as bossy as ever. I think I'll like it here, hopefully I will since I will spend eternity here.

I turned to Arthur, a smile was on his face spreading from ear to ear. I leaned up and planted a kiss on his cheek and ran to join the others. I think it'll be okay here, I'm happy, and I'm free.

"What about John?" I ask, sitting down at a wooden table next to Hosea. It still amazes me how young he looks, and how happy he is. Arthur sits next to me and rests his hand on mine.

"He'll be here soon, same with Tilly and Mary-beth. They have some things to do before coming here."

I nod my head and turn my gaze to Arthur. His blue eyes look so much brighter, so full of joy and love. I'm so happy to see him so content, to see him altogether.

I got up from the table and grab his hand, leading him to the edge of camp. I sit down and swing my legs over the edge. A everlasting sunset laid at the trees, the colors of it brighter than I'd ever seen them. Arthur sits down next to me and grabs hold of my hand. I lean my head on his shoulder and stare up at him as he examines the sky.

"So, forever?" I question, scanning his tanned face and blue eyes.

"Yeah, hopefully you won't get tired of me." Arthur laughs.

"I won't."
