We sat down at the table with Sadie, I wiped my remaining tears away and she gave me a quick smile before explaining the plan.

"Alright, I know a guy. We're gonna get on a hot air balloon to get a good eye on the prison to make sure Johns even there. Once we know we can move forward." We all nodded and agreed with the plan.

We mounted our horses and followed Sadie. We arrived at the hot air balloon and saw a man tending to it. Sadie hopped off her horse following with me and Arthur and walked towards the man.

"Mr. Bullard." Sadie said with a friendly voice. The man who Im guessing was Mr. Bullard turned to see her with a big smile on his face.

"Well Mrs. Adler! How nice to see you, the hot air balloon is ready. However, I'm afraid you and Miss.." Mr. Bullard trailed off.

"L/N."

"Miss L/N, will have to stay on the ground. Flying messes with a woman's vapors, as everyone knows." I chuckled and turned to Arthur with a small grin.

"Looks like you gotta go alone." I teased him, he scoffed and got into the balloon with Mr. Bullard. Me and Sadie waved to them as they rose into the air.

"Well, looks like we've got some free time." Sadie turned to me with a smile on her face.

We made our way to a rock and leaned against it. I pulled out two cigarettes and a match. I handed one of the cigarettes to Sadie, lighting the match with my boot than using the match to light our cigarettes. I took a puff of the cigarette.

"This is nice, ain't it." I said taking another puff of the cigarette and leaning against the rock a little more.

"Well it was." Sadie pointed to a group of O'driscolls making their way towards us. Me and Sadie used our hats to try to cover our faces, maybe they would go away. Nope. Without any warning they started shooting at us. Me and Sadie mounted our horses and raced away from them, only to see them catching up and still shooting. We shot a good amount of them down but they kept coming.

Arthur noticed the commotion and started to help shoot them down from the hot air balloon. I saw poor Mr. Bullard get shot by one of them damn O'driscolls. Arthur lowered the balloon and me and Sadie climbed into it and flew the balloon away from the O'driscolls. We didn't stay up in the air for long. We crashed right next to a river and thankfully weren't seriously injured.

We hid behind something as O'driscolls started shooting at us from the other side if the river.

"Get out of here you two, I can handle them!" Arthur yelled to us, still shooting.

"No way!" I yelled back at him and continued to shoot at the O'driscolls.

Sadie grabbed my arm and ran through the woods until we were far enough. She whistled for our horses.
