"What you mean?" Arthur asked, placing a hand on my thigh.

"I don't know.." I knew exactly how I felt, I just wasn't sure how to put it into words. I felt tears well up in my eyes. "I don't wanna lose you." Tears streamed down my face, I turned my head and cried in Arthur's shoulder. He carefully wrapped his arms around me and held me there while I cried.

"Arthur I need-" Dutch cut himself up as he saw me crying. "Arthur, meet me at my tent later." Dutch walked away, rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's okay, darlin'."

I lifted my head up from his shoulder, tears still falling from my eyes. "No it ain't! I-I can't lose you. I just-" I turned my head and cried into his shoulder once again. Arthur was only getting worse everyday and I had to watch it happen. And I couldn't do anything about it, I felt so helpless.

I lifted my head and dried my tears. "Go talk to Dutch." He placed a kiss on my forehead before getting up and walking to Dutch's tent.

I felt a horrible ache in my chest and all I wanted was for it to go away.

I watched as Arthur rode out of camp with some other gang members. I got up and made my way to my tent. Once I got there I immediately got into my cot and fell asleep.

I woke up to John, shaking me awake.

"Come on, Y/N. You gotta eat." I waved my hand at him so he would stop shaking me and turned over.

"Let me starve." I groaned, John started shaking me again.

"You gotta eat, Y/N. You've been gettin' thin." I turned over to John, giving him a dirty look.

I mocked him, "You're gettin' thin." I turned away from him, hugging my blanket.

"Left me no choice." Before I could say anything, John lifted me up and got me out of my cot, helping me to my feet. "Let's go eat!"

I sighed and followed John to the stew, grabbing a bowl and sitting at one of the wooden tables. I took a few bites of the stew and pushed it aside.

"You barely touched your food, Y/N. You need to talk?" Marybeth asked, a smile on her face.

I stood up and scoffed. "Shut it, Beth." I made my way to my tent, hearing talking from behind me but ignoring it. I opened the flap of my tent and walked in, sitting down on my cot.

John burst into my tent. "What the hell?" He stood across from me, arms crossed.

"What?" I rolled my eyes, laying down on my cot.

"Why'd you talk to Marybeth like that?" John asked, walking towards me.

"She's always in my business." I turned away from him and closed my eyes.

"You needa calm down." John sat on the edge of my cot and placed a hand on my shoulder. "What's up with you?"

"Nothin'." I shrugged and sat up to face him. I sat on the edge of the bed next to John and placed my head on his shoulder.
