'' To success!!'', we made a toast to end the event. Wow! Akala ko hindi na namin makakayanan na ma-number one pa, pero here we are. Aiming for the best. Sarap pala sa feeling na bukod sa nakakatulong ka, nakakaahon ka pa.

'' Oh and one more thing, to end this event, I would like to know that I chose the Employee of the Year.'' , ngumiti si Mr. Vergara, tatay ni Eric at boss/ tito ko, sabay kuha sa mic.'' The Employee of the Year goes to....'' *drumroll*

'' Mr. Ryder Monteverde!'' , lumipat ang spotlight sa akin at magpalakpakan ang mga tao. Tumingin sa akin si Eric at tinapik ako sa likod. '' Aba!! Congratulations pre!''  Tumayo ako at kimuha ang inaabot ni Tito sa akin na trophy. Tumingin ako sa mga katrabaho ko at nag-bow. Inabot sa akin ni Tito ang mic, '' Any words, Mr. Monteverde?''

'' Wow. Just wow. Hahahaha! Thank you for this recognition. I know that I'm just starting here but thank you for appreciating all my efforts and hardwork. It wouldn't be possible without you all. Tito and Eric, thank you for giving me this opportunity. May Vergara Group of Companies be more productive and blessed this year! Cheers!''

'' Cheers!'', sabi nilang lahat. Pagbaba ko ng stage, inakbayan ako ni Tito at bumulong, '' Wala ka bang balak umuwi sa Pinas, inaanak?''

Biglang pumasok sa isip ko sina Faye at Bianca, pati na mga kaibigan ko at sina Mama at Papa. '' Wala namang masama kung uuwi ka di ba? They'll understand you and besides, nakaipon ka na. I can see that you can handle it this time.'', dagdag pa niya. Alam kasi niya kung bakit ako nandito, mula sa pag-iwan ko kay Bianca hanggang sa mga hirap na naranasan ko dito sa Amerika.

Huminga ako ng malalim at ngumiti. '' I think I'm ready to go back, Tito. Can you please give me six months to start again and make this normal again?''

He tapped my back and smiled, '' Yan ang totoong Monteverde. Hindi umuurong.I'm so proud of you, inaanak.''

Paglabas ko sa eroplano, bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. I don't know what will happen to me here. I don't know what's waiting for me here in my hometown. Sana maging okay na. I know it may be hard for me to tell the truth. but this is the best way para maayos na ang anumang kaguluhan at kagaguhan na ginawa ko noon.

May masasaktan pa rin kahit ano ang gawin ko. Ngayon pa lang ihahanda ko na ang sarili ko sa kung anuman ang mangyayari.
