(Inspired by My Tears Ricochet by T Swift)
Today we all gather
On a sunlit room, weeping
For a promise of forever
Ended up shattering
If I was on flames
Then you'd burn into ashes
With all your games
Leaving me on breaking branches
Did I ever deserved
All the hell you've brought?
I honestly once thought
Of the cold shoulder, you've served
I have loved you
Swear, I always did
Until my dying day, you knew
But then you got me rid
I have loved you so
But I didn't have the grace
And now a hero, there you go
Flying around, saving face
If I am dead to you
Why are you still here?
At the wake that you knew
It was loud and clear
You, cursing my name
Wishing I have stayed
But what about the game
That you once played?
What a ghostly scene
I never wanted to haunt you
But how ghostly it has been
To see the jewels I once gave you
Stones that we once gathered -
Were the ones you wore
While burying me, unbothered
But do you ever miss me more?
I've always wondered -
Do you ever miss me in your bones?
Thoughts I've pondered -
Were you the first one to cast those stones?
Now I can go
Anywhere I want
Because I wanted to do so
And not because of your rant
Screaming to you in the night skies
Hope you still remember my memories
If you can't sleep with your lies
Hope you can hear my lost symphonies
You can aim for my heart
And go for my bloody ink
Have this restart
Letting the battleships sink
You had to kill me
But it has killed you just the same
Now just let me be -
Find my freedom from your game
