ALL WITHOUT SERENITY

Come and gone -

Has our coming of age

Every war I've won

And every single page

All of a sudden

Everything became clear

This summer was golden

Though danger seems near

Rain seems to be -

Just around the corner

For it lives in me

And it seems to be forever

For if I'm a fire

I'd keep your heart warm

This burning desire

But I meant no harm

With all your ocean blues

Cascading until you know

I'd die for you, searching for clues

In secrecy, this love's not just for show

It may all be in the detail

But in me, you've got a friend

No matter how fragile or frail -

As long as I'm with you in the end

Would it all be enough?

Everything but the peace

When things can get tough

Will it amend for this missing piece?

With your honor and integrity

Honestly, makes me seem small

When I can give you all without serenity

You still chose to give me your all

I can picture that scene on the wall

Of you painting those dreamscapes

Even without peace, I could give you my all

And you chose to paint my skies and landscapes

And you know with you,

I'd swing for the fences

Tell you everything I knew

And lower down my defenses

I'd give you my wild

And would understand

Someday, I'd give you a child

As long as beside me you'd still stand

I'd give you the kind of silence

In understanding between each other

In two people who loves in resilience

Now that I see your brother as my brother

I'd want to give you my sunshine

I'd want to give you my best

The moment that love became mine

I knew I'd want to give you the rest

But would it all still be enough?

When there are the robbers and clowns

When the weather gets too rough

And you might need to calm me down?

You know there still might be

Harsh winds and pouring rains

If you're still standing with me

With all of my scars and pains

If I am a fire that meant no harm

I know I still would instantly love

To keep your brittle heart warm

Despite the heavy rains above

And when your ocean blues

Begin to instantly cascade

Just know that those hues -

Of our love will never fade

I'd die for you in secret

When people think it's for show

And by doing so, I'll never regret

For the truth, we always know

It may all be in the details

And I may never give you peace

But would you still stand with all of my fails?
