We all know and understand the background of this track –it's about the thoughts of having someone that one must really want to have in their life and is willing to give everything for that person except peace.
While writing this piece, I have tried to capture similar emotions in the track into poetry. There are just these thoughts about fragility and insecurity that come with falling in love with someone that one can fight for and give or sacrifice everything for that person but wondering if these would ever be enough without the sense of peacefulness that comes with falling in love with someone like Taylor Swift. It's the kind of vulnerability that comes with pure raw and honesty of thoughts. Hearing the song is like hearing her speaking her mind with all the emotions that entail with these thoughts and I think that writing a poem to this song is really something not only vulnerable but also beautiful with all of its purity and fragility- all at the same time in patterned lines called poetry.
