A GLIMPSE OF SERENITY

Keep your helmet
Like keeping for your life
A mark of a flesh wound –
A story one can never forget
Thinking he's bleeding out
Crawling to the beaches
Searching for forces, thinking -
Some things one can't just speak about
With you I serve
With you, I fall down
Defending you will my all-
Everything you deserve
Watch you breathing in-
Watch you breathing out
Not without a fight -
Never giving in
Something med school didn't cover
The actual feeling in the situation
Of losing someone's daughter
And even someone's mother
There are some things -
We can't just speak about
In this journey, we call life -
Without emotions overflowing
Holding hands through plastic
Hoping to get it all through
Praying for a miracle -telling the doc,
Thinking her crashing is drastic
Things one can't just speak about
But with you, I'd still serve
With you, I'd still fall down
Even if in the skies, I can only shout
In only twenty minutes of relief
Dreaming some epiphany in your sleep
Just a single glimpse of serenity
In a moment of tranquility in a brief
Making some sense
Of what you have seen
Some things happening in reality
Reflecting on all the occurrence
That glimpse of serenity
I'd still cherish to grab
Find a flicker of hope
In a moment's tranquility
