Tough was the time
I had while adjusting
Lost was the shine
Of my wheels now rusting
Blue ocean waves of regrets
Washed over my fears
I couldn't quite have the rests
When I all I have are my tears
Clueless I am of your thinking
If you'd still care or not at all
Great was my fear of losing
The only one I could call
Countless was my pacing
Then stood there in your doorway
Running was my thoughts interlacing
Not quite knowing what to say
Bleeding hearts never fail to grow
As it never truly stopped caring
Truth I wanted you to know
Struggle was with me trying
Mental was my cages
I heard people once say
Wasted were my potential pages
Torn, burned but still chose to stay
Maddening was my will
With my bullet words
Danger was my strike to kill
In a gunfight with swords
Blind was the curve of the sphere
Ahead I was from the running
Uncertain was my feeling
But I still ended up here
Bad was the blood of my misery
Sadness was filled with my anger
Bottled up like whiskey
Poured out on a stranger
Those days when nights are longer
A loud party when I feel blue
And I couldn't feel better
When all I wanted is you
Golden were the fragments
Old memories with you
The treasured moments
Like movie scenes that came true
Priceless treasures are everything-
We just have to hold
And this is me trying
To save something gold
