CLANDESTINE MEETINGS

(Inspired by 'Illicit Affairs' by T Swift)

Written By: Queen Anne

Keep your eyes down

Hood up running by the town

Make sure you're discreet

Enough to take the secluded street

Leave no traces behind

Memories kept back in mind

Like they don't even exist

No more words, don't insist

Telling yourself you can stop

Getting out when it goes flop

Knowing all the darkest secrets

Having all the guilt and regrets

Intoxicating feeling high

Ends up with a lonely sigh

And you can only dream

The words you wanted to scream

Stop calling you a kid

Like a secret, he'd hid

Stop calling you baby

Not treating you like a lady

Clandestine meetings

Stolen stares in secret longings

A secret language spoken

With no one else, well hidden

Making you a little fool

And the thrill isn't that cool

For it kills you a million times

With all these secrecy and perfect crimes

For he knew damn well

This heavenly mess brought you hell

And you knew that it always dies

A million times with a million little lies
