Writing this piece called, "Faithless Love" was probably one of the first poems I have written for this compilation after a few first listens to Hoax. My draft for this poem seemed to be endless because I was not only drawn to the beautiful instrumental but also to its poetic and melancholic lyrics. The song became my lullaby but the poem became one of my fastest written poems as it was only written in about fifteen to twenty minutes considering its length and the weight of melancholia. Hoax has been one of the songs out of the folklore album which has made me instantly think like, "I have to write a poem inspired about this".
Most of its lines and verses were traditionally written on a pen and paper, some were written on small index cards and its writing process was just one of those times where words just kept flowing like a river and seemed to be endless that I had to cut some parts but I can only hope this poem will be able to pull some heartstrings while listening to Hoax.
