As one of the last poems I have written for this compilation, I saved one of the most challenging songs to write a poem on in my own opinion. For me, Mirrorball is like one of those songs which can be interpreted differently by people in their own opinions. Upon knowing the background of this song from the "Long Pond Studio Sessions" Movie, I have saved this song as one of the last that I wanted to write on because I wanted to take my time on thinking, "How would I go writing a poetry piece for this song and from which angle should I take it?". In this case, it came out to be satisfying and fulfilling at the same time. Not only "Every Version of You" sticks with the vibes and aesthetics of the song, but it also shows you the versatility from the main point of view that I wanted to capture for this piece and I guess, the versatility of "trying everything" for the person or people that one wants to keep is something that is priceless and beautiful to express in a poem as well.
