Josh
Oh my god.
Yeah.....I'm the luckiest guy alive. There were so many things that I loved about that costume, her legs were on display, her cleavage was on display, the thigh slit that showed off what looked like a damn garter-belt. Was she wearing this to make me feel crazy? Cause it's working. If she wasn't......it was still working.
I wish that when we walk into that party tonight that I could hold her hand, show everyone that she's mine and she's not up for grabs. Now that I had Heather I wanted everyone to know, but I guess it's one step at a time.
Eleanor's driving us over now, it's closer to nine than eight but Heather didn't seem worried. Eleanor and Heather certainly disagreed over her costume, she tried to get Heather to change her mind before we left and I desperately prayed Heather wouldn't listen.
"Alright, here we are." Eleanor says. "What time do you want me to pick you up?"
"Midnight?" Heather suggests and I nod knowing I didn't mind one way or the other. The sooner we left, the sooner we could go back to Heather's.
"Okay, I'll be here." Eleanor says and Heather leans across the consul to give her a hug. "You can call me if you have a problem, I'll get in the car and come straight here."
"Thanks Eleanor." Heather says and then looks back at me. "Ready?" She asks and I nod reaching for the door handle.
"Have fun you two and be safe." She says and we both nod. I thank her for the ride and help Heather out of the car.
"Thanks." She whispers and I nod, waving as Eleanor drives away. "Whenever you want to leave let me know and I'll make a call, alright?" She asks and I nod.
"Same to you." I tell her and she smiles. "What are our rules tonight?" I ask and she shrugs.
"We can be friendly, but not too friendly. No kissing, handholding or long embraces unless it's behind a closed door." She says and I nod making mental notes. "I know you don't really know anyone that well here so I'll make sure to stay with you. Plus I kind of want to anyway." She mumbles and I laugh. "My friends.....are going to antagonize you. Joke with the boys, not with the girls. Our only allies are Julia, Hayden and the other guys that do the show with us."
"Okay, I think I've got it." I say and she stops me.
"Are you wearing your necklace?" She asks and I sigh, shaking my head.
"No, I left it at your place. I didn't want anyone to make the connection." I admit and she nods.
"Then you were thinking like me, mine's safe with the rest of my jewelry." She smiles and I nod. "I want you to remember that whatever happens tonight, that I'm going home with you to fall asleep in your arms. Don't let anyone in here make you think any differently." I nod a bit at that and shrug knowing I was repeating the same mantra all night.
I knew there would be guys who'd be all over her tonight. I knew she'd be polite but wouldn't give them the time of day. I had to mentally prepare myself slightly.
"I won't." I whisper and she smiles.
"Good." She whispers back. "Let's have some fun." I nod and follow her the rest of the way up the driveway and to the front door. The house was loud inside, the ground was practically shaking. I'd been to a few parties before, but I didn't tend to drink much and they weren't nearly as insane as this one was.
We step in and I can immediately smell a horrible mixture of things. Vomit, weed, vape smoke, sweat. It was a smell that definitely accompanied parties.
